In the Southern parts of India, Diwali is celebratedin the early morning wheras in North India, it is celebrated from evening onwards and it continues till the Mid Night. You could witness a series of bustling Crackers, people distributing sweets to each other and greets one another "Happy Diwali". Although it is a Hindu Festival, it will be celebrated throughout the country. For any Foreigner who visits India during Diwali time they will be totally fascinated by the beauty of Diwali. Another Important festival is Holi. It is mainly being celebrated in the North India. People used to spray on each other with different colours to indicate the bloom of the spring season and their life to turn colourful on that eventful day.

On this very special day every one eats one special sweet i.e gunjhia .One more practice also followed on this day is throwing ballons on each other especially by children which is very
risky as it could hurt the victim.So that should be avoided.
