 Well for me i can leave with the truth no matter how painful it gets but I can never leave with the lie.... I am not perfect person and I may not always say the truth by not answering when asked. For me it's better to keep silent then answer with a lie. How about you my friend which does hurt you the most the truth of the lie?

I think the truth hurts the most. Some people tend to lie because they knew that the truth will hurt someone. That's probably one of the main reasons why people lie anyway.
On the other hand, lying is a sin though haha.

An adopted child gets hurt once he learned that he's adopted(although i can't understand that kind of attitude) and its because it was hidden from him for a very long time. A wife gets hurt when a husband is cheating, he lies about stuff coz he's hiding something.
At some circumstances lies can hurt more, if a guy lies - denying that he loves you when in fact he did but he marries someone else(although this is bizarre occurrence) and then you learn the truth... a person is hurt when he learns the truth that he lies! He is not hurt of the truth but because of the lie.
A person who has about a day to live will be hurt to learn the truth from a doctor. He'll realize its not in the hands of the doctor and somehow it helps not to know those stuff so the person won't be discouraged. For some, they use the new information to change their attitude(although i don't agree that people should only change when they came to know they only have a few hours to live coz the change should be taken every waking hour.)

Situation 1: A guy who is a witness of a murder, tells a lie in a court then that hurts.
Situation 2: A guy love a girl but didn't propose her yet. On the other hand girl thinks that the guys is just a friend and loves another guy. One day he propses to her. Now, if that girl tells a truth, then that hurts.
So, situational truth or lie, both hurts and both give pleasure but most of the time please stick to truth becaues most of the time Truth wins over lie!
