The wrong flag

I believe they mean the myLot interest for England, rather than user details.

Now I feel silly. And, of course you're right. Thanks for correcting my error! The English flag for England has been used and accepted since the 16th century. Based on that, it certainly should be acceptable to MyLot as well.

I was referring to the list of discussions but thank you for pointing out the Mylot population list. I had not realised it was possible to get lists of users for each town. Very interesting. In this list England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales are combined as the United Kingdom. I have no objection to that.

It is strange that the English people accept this when under the heading "Scotland" the St Andrew's cross flag is shown. It makes it look like England has no flag or identity of it's own. Do any of our English friends have any opinion on this? Are you happy with the three country flag instead of your own?

Hi ptrikha, thank you for your interest and support. I have had no response from Mylot and it seems very few English people have any interest in their national flag.
I will keep commenting on this whenever I get the chance since, as a Scot, I thing it is important that it be corrected.

Well, I know one thing: if we do not respect people's sentiments;we are not doing the right thing .So,this must be corrected .

Thanks for your comment. I live outside the UK and am continually coming in contact with people who think Scotland is part of England. This kind of grossly improper representation is an example of how people are misled and it annoys me intensely. It Seems Mylot are not interested but remember the story of Robert the Bruce, he did not give up and eventually got a victory. If I am not supposed to call a Pakistani a "Pakki" or a Chinese a "Chinki" which to me were always friendly terms, then why should someone be allowed to call me English?

Still no response or more support from England or, more surprisingly, Northern Ireland and Scotland. I will, however keep trying and maybe find some other way of highlighting this issue which to me is very important.

Hi Robert, Thanks for your support. I have complained several times to Mylot
and sent them an English flag but have had no response. Your flag is actually better than mine. Any chance of you contacting Mylot and asking them to use your flag?.

i will try my best, i feel strongly about it. english football fans adopted the union flag as theirs in the 1960s but it's strictly the british flag and should never be used as the english one. i'll see about contacting mylot now

You can set whatever photo you like for any interest. I just set your flag as the photo here.

Go to the interest, click on the photo you want to set as the icon and you will see that it asks you 'do you want to set....'
Click on the 'pencil' and voilà you've changed it
