Well does that mean that you will be a bride soon? I love the flowers at weddings and you are really fortunate to catch them. What kind of flowers are popular where you live? I had gardenias at my second wedding, roses at the first. I love fragrant flowers.

You know,it is exciting when the bride will throw the wedding flower.In china, people like red rose and white lily as wedding flower.Every girl hope to catch it ,it will bring happiness.

I've only been to a few weddings, and have never caught the flowers. In fact, one of the weddings they pushed me and the former roomie to the front and I flat told them that if it came to me I'd just let them drop. Happily, some sweet young thing caught them so I was off the hook.

That is neat. I think I have caught the bouquet once before also. It is fun trying to get it and it is mainly luck when you catch it when the bride throws it behind her back.

Your discussion reminded me of the time when i deliberately caught the flower so that my sister wouldn't get it... i did that because i have never caught a bridal flower before... and it was quite fun... then the last time was when i did it because no one else would... the bride threw the bouquet twice but the brides maid refuse to even try... just to end it... i caught the flower... and had fun with the rest of the activities that goes with it...

I never got to catch a bouquet, even when I went to several weddings before my own happened. My daughter caught the flowers at her best friends wedding a couple of weeks ago. Of course at this point, she doesn't even have a steady boyfriend, so it would be hard for her to be the next one to get married! LOL

I heard that one has to get married within 6 months of catching the flower. How true I am not sure. Perhaps it is God's call for you to get married.

REally? According to an ancient belief, the lady who catches the bouquet will be the next one to be wed. So what are you waiting for? Prince Charming hasn't arrived yet? Do you believe in that belief?
