From my bill statement from the credit card company, I saw there is an item I never asked for. It was a credit protection plan. When I signed up with this credit card, I never ask for it. They just imposed on my credit card bill, how could they? So, I called the customer service to get rid of this item from my bill, because I don't remember I ever ask for it. They can't just charge me for something I never buy or request. The customer service lady kept on convince me to stay on this plan, and I just don't like the way they scam the customer. After 20 minutes reasoning, and rejection. She unpleasantly give in, and agree to get rid of that credit protection plan. Can you believe that unethical act from those credit cards?

When they try to put the Credit Protection on my card I jsut ask for the pay off balance and tell them I am going to be switching cards and canceling this one. that gets their attenetion fast.

Yes, that has happened to me to, and it makes me very angry as well. Especially because I have to waste a significant amount of my time on the phone trying to get the thing stopped, and the charges removed. My time is precious and I don't like it when these kinds of things take up my time.

Yep, I can believe it. It's up to the consumer (you and I) to watch for things like that, unfortunately. They'll get away with anything they can. Watch your statements in the future to make sure they've taken it off. I've had them tell me they would, but it never happened and I had to call again to make them do it.
