 I am not good enough in something to do it professionally. What I was thinking about when I thought up this question, was how many people on mylot seem to be able to cook really well. I mean really well. So I thought perhaps some of them were good enough to go into catering. I am pretty sure Grandpa Bob could set up his own produce market since he grows so many things, and they turn out so well. So...?

| 1. wmfhed (87) | 7 months ago |  Everyone has a potential to be good enough in doing something professionally. Sometimes this potential lies in your characteristic and may have not been found yet. I believe cautiousness and patience are necessary if you want to be good at cooking. Some people on mylot might be capable of cooking really well, others may have not tried that just because they don't have spare time or they don't feel confident about themselves.

| sally04160217 (36) | 7 months ago |  Maybe for the time being, you are not so professional at cooking at he is, but certainly you can learn from him, if it is possible, and improve your own cooking skills. I uesed to be a bad cooker, but I have made some efforts in learning how to cook, from the internet and I even bought some cooking books. And now I can say that my cooking is not bad, really, and sometimes when I invite my best friend home and cook a big dinner for her, she appreciates my cooking greatly and even admires me^_^

a part time home business.
Gardening is a natural partner to
farmer's markets.
Guess people just have so much stuff
going on in their personal lives they don't
have time for part time money making
ventures.
If it were me, I'd make time!
Never going to turn down the opportunity
to earn more money.

I love to bake and cook and have catered several dinners for church and civic groups. I just don't have the faith in myself to jump off and do it for a living.

I am not good at doing anything professionally like cooking or gardening or whatever. The only thing I could do is write letters to help these who are not good at that. Like my husband he hates writing letters and I even do write the Christmas Mail and Birthday cards to his family so he only got to sign them.
