My friend Krystal is having her baby boy on June 2. We were chatting today, and since I'm not in the USA where she is, I obviously won't be there on June 2, but there will be loads of pictures. I knew I'd be sitting in a cafe near an ice cream store, so I thought I'd ask her what her favourite kind of ice cream was. She told me "Cookes and cream." I think a new baby is a wonderful reason to celebrate, the world over. On June 2, if you happen to be near an ice cream store, and if you happen to like Cookies and Cream ice cream, please have a scoop for Krystal, nad new baby boy, and the baby's big brother. :)
Anyone else out there like to celebrate special occasions with ice cream? Which occasions, and what's your favourite flavour?

sure, why not? Cookies and cream is one of the flavours I enjoy.
As for celebrate something with ice cream, I am not sure. I don't think I do it as a rule, but it's a nice way to celebrate, that's for sure :):):)
MY favorite all time flavour is pralines and cream and butter pecan.

You are talking about Krystal Harwell? She and I are friends on gather. I will definately eat at least one scoop of Cookies and Cream for her and Baby Brad. That is one of my favorite flavors and I happen to have 2 quarts of it in the freezer! I also have strawberry cheesecake, and mint chocolate chip. All of them are sugar free...so I may just have a scoop of more than one! LOL

Congrats Grandma! I am a three-timer myself! Just had the third last month! Best job in town, second only to mom!!! As a mom - you have to give them back!!! My daughters b-day is tomorrow and she'll be 31 nad my don in June 10 and he will be 27 - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL!!!!!

Hi, i like celebration with ice cream too...i like vanilla flavor or strawberry.
The best ocasion to celebrate is a new baby, this is the best moment in parents, and family life.
What can be more pure and innocent as time when a baby come in this world.

yep babies are a great reason to celebrate, I don't really celebrate with ice cream though, cake yes but not ice cream.
My favourite flavours are ben and Jerry's chunky monkey, rum and raisin from baskin robbins, and heavenly hash

What a nice way to celebrate for a friend. The baby will grow up loving ice-cream. Whenever there is any occasion for celebration, even a small celebration for his completing a difficult task at work, my friend and I will celebrate with an ice-cream after dinner.

Congrats to your friend! I've been wanting to try out this new ice cream that they started selling just a while ago here. It is covered in white chocolate (which is my favorite chocolate...) and inside it has liquorice which is my favorite filling
