Do you trade them in?

In reality i never traded for videogames in a shop or store deals with these kind of products!!
It can be real because normally i download games from the net when i want play some..anyway i think that this can be a good prece too for some good titles that one you mentioned on your post and so enjoy to play your game now:)

I use to trade them in but not much anymore, becuse I find that those game stores dont give you even close to the full value of the games that you buy, and when I trade them in I feel like I'm being ripped off, in my experience I bought a $12 game and I later returned it and they only gave me $3 dollars in store credit, and god forbid you decide that you want cash back instead, not to mention the fact that some of those hard to find classic games are rarely in stock at those places.

So now after having a few unpleasant experience's in those places I prefer to buy my games online, and just add them to my collection so I dont have to worry about if i'll still find it if I want to play it a agin, and think about the bad trade in deals, and it seems a lot easier to find all sorts of games online then just shopping at one place and trading in, in my opinion.

I have never traded in games, but my son's father gave him a few games that he does not like. I told him what type of games he was into, but he gave him a Hockey game, a football game, SIMS, and something else. My son was a but disappointed. We might take them in and trade them when he gets back into town.

Usually I look on Ebay to see if I can get a good price there as the stores don't always give you a good price and it does pay to shop around, sometimes I give them to friends and recycle them that way and they would give me their games which is a good way of working it.

We haven't done it. I have trouble letting go of our games lol. I like to go there though and buy used ones to save money. We usually only have a few different games for the game system we have so there is no need to trade them in. i'm getting a wii soon so i want to start looking for cheap games for it.

I really wish we could do that here but, most stores here in our place don't even do that at all. You can just buy from them and if the game doesn't work, either replace it with another copy or you could just choose a different title.

Then, there are other gamers who are willing to purchase games that you have. Haven't encountered anyone looking for a trade, most of them want to sell their games for a reasonable price these days. If they could only get good copies or hard to find ones, they could surely post it online and maybe get more than the prices that they are offering it with.

I don't but my daughter does and she has gotten good deals both in buying and selling. I think Game Stop was the name of one of the places she goes. She also gets games for the DS for her daughter... found on there that she didn't even know existed... Belle Sara.. and of coures her daughter is a HUGE fan of Bella Sera world so it was a "gold find" for her... the game, she said, is great and can't hardly stand to put it down and say "good by" to her horse friends!

My younger brother does all the buying/selling/trading of games... and I mooch off of his merchandise.:) But I know he does a LOT of selling back to stores/trading in for credit etc. It's nice to recycle that way!

My partner has traded games in previously and was pretty disapointed at the value he got for them, since they were relativley new games and he had only had them a few weeks. He has stopped trading in games now and has found he gets much more money for them if he sells them on ebay. He has nearly doubled the price offered by the Game store. Dont get me wrong it can be a great idea but they are the ones benefiting 4 fold in the end as the price that they resell the games for is always at least double what they pay you for it.
