That sounds like a pretty good idea. I was considering this stuff for the crib that was mesh and went over top the crib to keep the baby from crawling out. my daughter learned how to crawl out of her crib rather early but she wasn't ready for a toddler bed. Luckily she stopped crawling out because she couldn't stick the landing lol. I've been saved by online shopping and researching quite a few times. I wish I could think of a specific incident so this would be more interesting, but my brain is fried lol. I'm glad you found something to help you get some sleep.

It sounds like a good idea. My kids never really had a problem with getting their feet stuck. My son was rarely in his crib though, so that helped with him not getting stuck I guess. I hope it arrives quickly so you all can start to get more rest.

Thankfully I've never had that problem. Maybe once or twice, but not on a regular basis. With my kids it was always some obscure reason for being up all night, and I never could figure it out.

I have heard that cribs have that problem.. don't know why they do these days... didn't years ago. but probably cause they are trying to make more money off them and structure the slats farther apart instead of appropriately for kids... okay, off my soap box.. but hey.. that sounds like a great solution! I was going to mention bumper pads, but your mesh net is really a good idea. And very safe too. Good luck with it

As for the snoring husband...can't help you there! My husband started snoring abou 15 years ago and we haven't slept in the same room since. He won't get any help and won't loose any weight(that is a huge contribution to snoring!). But his snores.. I still have to close sometimes both bedroom doors... I'm telling you it is close to earthquake rumble sound!

donkey years ago, when my children were small, I had a crib bumper that went around the crib and was secured into place. This worked quite well as far as I recall but this meash looks so good and shpuld solve your problems. As far as your husband goes, try getting him to use a nasal spry last thing at night and this should help to stop the snoring.

Otherwise, you could do what I always did. Pinch his nose very hard and yell at him to turn on his side. Hope this works out o.k. for you

I am very glad that online shopping did save you. The situation you wrote on was very dangerous for your child. I am a early childhood educator/daycare provider. I have had alot of experience with children and my sister actually jus had a little boy. We all live in the same home. When my sister brought home his crib i wanted to put it together so that i would know that he would be safe. Crib meshes are great for cribs and the also have taller meshes for when the child gets a little older. Many people think that putting the childs toys into the childs crib while they sleep is a good idea.......not! If that child was to be playing with the toy and like most children do, put their toy in their mouth, then fall asleep, the child can suffacate. Also some people put pillows and/or extra blankets....not good! These items are all bad for the child to have in their crib with them. I know alot of this stuff helps the child get to sleep but it could contribute to death. SIDS has no real cause yet but these things do contribute to it. The baby should be laying flat on his/her back with no other object in the crib with them. Crib safety is very important so when you all read this...pass it on and you might be able to save someone elses child.

As someone who has been taking care of kids/babies since I was 12 years old I have to ask....Why didn't you have a crib bumper in the first place? Yes the mesh one looks cool. Hopefully it will arrive soon so that your son will not be suffering any longer.

No shopping online has never rescued me but it had saved me a lot of money.

I really truly hope that this solution helps alot. I know how that can be. We bought bumper pads but it never failed that a arm or leg got through it a few times. So this is a good solution and I hope it does well.
