 Does your cell phone have a camera??How frequently do you use it?
I have a HTC Touch & Nokia Xpressmusic phones. Both of them have good quality cameras.But i rarely use them. The last time when i used the camera on my phone was for birthday party of my office colleague, where nobody was carrying a digital camera.
Do you really think its an essential part of the cellphone??

Thera are times when u dont have the digital camera with you and the camera in the cellphone suffices the purpose...

12.  hellcowboy (4856) | 6 months ago |  This is a really good question because I know cell phones are really important when it comes to everyday life,because they are a good way to get in touch with someone in case of an emergency such as if you have an accident or break down,and I know it seems like almost everyone has a cell phone nowadays,and every time you turn around they are talking on their cell phones,which it is dangerous when you see people driving down the road,talking on their cell phone and not paying attention to the road infront of them,and I am sure most people can not spend a single day without a cell phone,and then I am sure there are people who do not care if they have a cell phone or not,and I know that some people feel they need cell phones with cameras and MP3 players on them,but personally I think that those things are a waste,you can get a MP3 player and a digital camera for just as cheap,and the phone me and my fiance have is just a simple phone that can call people and allow people to call us,and that is all we need it to do,and neither one of us want an expensive phone that does things that we would never use,have a great day,good luck with your life,and all of your mylotting goals,and Happy Posting.

Firstly, thanks...Your response has been the biggest and longest one that i ever got on mylot.
I completely agree with you that keeping these gadgets segregated is a better option.
The phone, mp3 player and camera have now been all integrated into a single device...but unfortunately if something happens to the device, all the three are gone....
On the other hand if you have these 3 gadgets as entirely different entities, even if you mess up one, the others are still intact....
So thats really how i think about it..

I would have been better off buying a cheaper phone and a separate camera. The phone I had before this one did not take the greatest pictures but they were sure better than the ones this one takes.

She loves making poses and getting a lot of attention so my cellular phones external memory is filled by her pictures and videos. She is about to turn two and my external memory is already low so I guess it's time for me to burn her pictures in a dvd to be able to have more space for her growing up pictures.

| 20. Toxicon (124) | 6 months ago |  I use the camera in my phone all the time, it's generaly easier to find than my digital camera and takes decent pictures. I have a bad habit of taking pictures of things like my cat, cloud formations I think look interesting and things of that nature.
Actualy, one of my favorite past times is taking stupid pictures and sending picture messages to friends, they in turn send back pictures from thier phones, I think I'll upload them all tommorow just for a laugh.
