 I was reading this morning about a woman who got a 1.92 million dollar judgement against her for illegally sharing music on Kazaa.com. Wow! I am always finding songs on limewire. I hope I dont ever get in trouble. I guess what she did was share music. I think. Is it wrong to download music? Why do they let you then?

When you sign up for limewire, it makes you agree that you aren't breaking any copyright infringment laws. I think they want you to watch what you're doing. If someone wants a song have them get it themselves.Also most of the time you dont get an entire song. Most of te time you dont even notice it. Sometimes they will say something over the song like the company that provided the download.It is said a little bit softer during the song. You can hear it perfectly. THis way they figure you cant sell a song that says"this is an on demand download" throughout the song. Honestly I think the people that get into trouble are the ones who are selling them in bulk at stores and flea markets etc. You are fine. Keep on downloading. dl | |
