When do you notice they have grown?

Not so long ago my daughter needed to use a step stool to reach the faucet at the bathroom sink to brush her teeth. Now she can do that without the stool, no problem. We have been trying on clothing that fit her fine just 6 months ago, now she needs new. Does alot of time go by before you look up and say "wow you've grown!"

Children always seem to grow up too fast. I think it comes with the territory. I'm not sure, but I think it is even more dramatic if you don't see them all the time. Like and aunt, uncle, or grandparent.

Thast happened to me with my daughter too. It seems like yesterday that she was in elementary school. She is now a senior in high school this year. She will graduate when she goes back this year and finishes school. Time does fly by.

It's when you see them all the time and everyday that you don't notice the smallest changes so easily when everyone else is raving wow you have grown..and your like looking for the changes to see and then notice them sometimes. My sister grows out of clothes fast she is growing like a weed and she is big for her age. Before long she will be as tall as me and she is only just turned eight..of course I have tallness in my family even some of the girls are above average height. But it still makes me wonder where the times goes when I have noticed changes.

With my daughter that happens about once every few weeks. Something will fit her one day and the next it is magically too small. My son used to be like that when he was younger. Not so much anymore. I have not seen him in 3 weeks though, so I am sure by the time he comes back I will be saying it about him.
