Chris Brown gets slap on wrist..

I think there is something wrong in our judicial system. We had a murder yesterday in my little town. A gal that was confined to a wheel chair...had a restraining order on her ex boyfriend who beat her etc....yesterday he killed her. His butt should have been sitting in jail as just in Feb. he had hit her in the head with something and she had to have medical treatment...he also took her tv and threw it through a window. But he was still running around loose until yesterday. Let them go with a slap on the wrist? I think not!

Whether she forgave him or not, if it was a Joe Bloggs without the exposure and money I am fairly certain there would be more punishment involved. I won't forget and I hope I'm not the only one.

None of us truly know what's going on. Some of the magazines say that Rhianna chose to forgive him. I don't think they can do worse to him unless she presses charges, in which case he probably still wouldn't get any worse punishment. Even a normal person wouldn't get much punishment for beating a woman. My husband was seeing a girl before he and I dated, and her ex beat her so bad she was in the hospital. She had a restraining order against him, but the cops would not do anything else until he hit her again. So even after they stopped dating, my husband went everywhere with her just to protect her. That did finally come to an end before he and I dated. I forget how it ended up. I think maybe she went back to the guy who beat her, which made my hubby realize what a loser she was and then he started dating me!

He11 no the punishment doesn't fit the crime but money talks...and all that rot. The plea deal is an effort to make this "go away" so that folks will forget what he did and he can go back to pretending he's a nice guy. They've gotta protect those future record sales, you know.
