Some Mylot member asked me to change my AVATAR. Shoud i?

Hello Daryljane! Well I think that if You really like your avatar, then you should keep it.:D Your avatar give You a personality on here, & NO ONE has the right to demand that someone changes it simply because they happen to dislike it. It's really up to you, but if this creep should still be bothering, I would delte him or her off your friendslist & report them to Mylot. There is Nothing wrong with your avatar. So please keep it. mostly I wonder why you feel the need to ask. If you are confident in what you have there then surely it shouldn't matter to you what this person thinks. Obviously this person was offended by it and chose to let you know....freedom of speech.

The avatars are used mainly to give other people, in this case other myLotters, a chance to somehow get to know the person behind the username. The avatars, simply put, is a form of expression. Okay, so myLotters have the freedom to share their opinions and thoughts. That is a given. However, everyone should also realize that, in turn, each myLotter is a unique individual entitled to express themselves freely in whatever form they want. If a myLotter wants to express himself through his avatar, even if we feel strongly about it, we can't do anything but accept it. The fact that it was allowed by the admins shows that they didn't think it was offensive. Don't let the opinion of ONE member change you or the way you do things here at myLot.

I am going to have to agree with everyone else. As long as it does not go against the rules of mylot and as long as it does not show anything extremely offensive I think you should have the right to have whatever avatar you like. I personally see no problem with your avatar, and I would write back to the guy saying that you mean no offense by the picture and that is he doesnt like it than he should not be looking at it. You dont have to be rude, because I dont think he was trying to offend you, just write back in a considerate manner! Your not losing anything, and you gain respect!

Well even me looking at that am feeling uncomfortable.And even if I were in your friend list I would have done the same.But is on you whether you want to change it or not.If other people not liking what you do does not bother much to you then may be you should use the same avatar.But if you really value what your friends think and feel about you then may be should straight away change it.

Your Avatar is your web presence or signature if you will No one has the right to ask or tell you how to represent yourself so therefore i strongly suggest you keep your avatar just as it is now or change it when you want to,not change it on another members opinion or likes or dislikes of it.

lol! no! ofcourse not. If the person doesn't like the avatar, he's free to leave mylot. Your avatar isn't that offensive. If it were, mylot would've taken it down anyways. I think its just fine. i don't see what's wrong with it frankly. Could someone put it into perspective for me?

There is nothing even slightly offensive about your avtar and I really can't see what the problem is. Maybe I'm blind but I can't see any naughty bits.

I would have uploaded a new version of my avtar in support but I can't!!
