One night without AC!

I know the feeling . Hurricane Ike happened almost a year ago and i remember those 10 days and night that we had no power . It was horrible and boring ....I never played so much UNO in my life, but i learned that if my boyfriend and i could get through that, then we can get through anything

well i feel for you having to spend the night without a/c, i would have went crazy myself.....but its little things like AC, that makes life SOOOO much better lol.

Oh yeah! its hard! since im used to ac at home and at work. Its really hard and i cant sleep and its uncomfortable and ill be whinning over and over again.

But you know what, its also not good to sleep inside the car with the ac on, it will cause you carbon monoxide poisoning...it can cause soffucation, paralysis and even death! the father of my friend died on this and her brother spent almost a month in the hospital and is now paralyzed. they slept inside the car with the ac on while waiting for my friend while shes inside the gym performing..the performance only tool 4 hours and since her father and are very sleepy, they didnt watched the performance, instead, they slept inside the car waiting for her. we have to break the glass to open the door inside because it already took us minutes and the people inside didnt hear us..her dad is DOA, and the paramedics worked on her brother.

there are time that you have to go through a night without ac if theres no elebtric, but then stop sleeping inside the car with the ac on..moreso saving your own life.

I don't always require airconditioning when I sleep. I can sleep with only electric fans, but there are times when it is really humid and those are the times when I would really request that we use airconditioning. Other nights I prefer to leave the windows open and let the cool night breeze enter our room

lol...thats a good idea haha..sleep in the car cuz that has ac hahaha...its been hella hot in norcal these past couple of days, and my family doesnt have ac...so we just sweat it out lol...fans do nothing to cool us down hahaha...

well, well...nowadays our climate is totally bad super hot even in night time.saddest is when your light went wrong. but for the people who lives in nippahut or muddy house or living in a remote areas they can live and ignore that hot atmosphere..w i wish those poor people who live in a very hottest area will experience just one night in soft bed and cool room...how's that sound?..huh?

wow! You went to your car to sleep?! Where do you live that it gets so hot that you have to sleep in your car and waste so much gas?! I live in the U.S and ACs are not thaaat common, I mean alot of people have them but its not a surprise wen someone does not have one. ACs get way too cold when I am asleep, I usually sleep better without an AC, because the weather here is pretty mild, but when it gets really hot and humid I need a fan!
I am sorry it was so miserable for you, but good point you made at the end about how you thought of people who were less fortunate than you;)

we do not have AC at home. at office we are used to it. But as we don't have AC at home, we feel bad each night during hot nights. what to do.

I do not have air conditioning, but that is by choice, not lack of funds. I prefer fresh air and use fans if I am hot. Heat does not bother me.

When we went to Italy last summer, many places had none and those that did, it was not that horribly cold, waste of energy type air conditioning.

I find that it is better to be used to not having it as I can live with or without it but you seem to be too used to it.

I like being outside a lot in summer so if I could not live without it, I would miss out on a lot of great times outdoors!

I bet you were very hot if you didn't have AC especially since you are used to having it. Luckily my hubby is a heating and air man so if something happens to ours I can just send him out to see what the problem is and fix it. I hate you were so hot you had to go sleep in your car. Hope you have ac again real soon.
