My MRI results...

Hey koalatbs! That is great news! Even though you don't
have a diagnosis yet at least your MRI was normal so that
still is good news! Now you can move on to the next diagnostic
step! Ruling out things sometimes is frustrating, but it
still can be a good thing! So be happy that they weren't able
to find anything really terrible! Just be patient, even though
I know that it's hard to do! Take care!

Have you had an MRI of your back done? Out of place discs can cause that sort of pain too. My best guess is that your doctor will want you to have an electrical test that detects the nerve response in your body at various places. I had this done and as a result was diagnosed with both carpal tunnel and neuropathy. THe test is no fun, but it really can help to determine if there is a problem with the nervous system that cannot be detected through an MRI.

I know all too well about your frustration. I have been reading your posts and waiting for the results. I have always thought the results would be normal and that's because I have been going through the same blasted thing. I get sever dizzy spells they are calling vertigo. I just hate it when they don't find the problem and then to look at you like, "What Is Your Problem Lady?" It's like this if we knew we'd be doctors!!! I'm going to await the end results and Good Luck Dear Friend!!!

I do wish you well in finding out. I know last year when I was trying to figure out what was wrong with me they could never find out. I was kinda ok over the winter, but now my breathing problem has come back a bit. I don't know if I want to start allergy testing...

I was also upset a little when my MRI's showed no sign of what is causing my problems. Keep telling the doctors everything you can to help them figure it out and we'll all be pulling for you!

was it only on your brain, Jill? Because my neurologist thinks I've got a pinched nerve in my hip causing my numbness and tingling on the top of my right thigh. He wanted me to get an MRI on my hip and lower spine, but I couldn't cough up the $102 for the MRI. Then I gained more weight and it stopped. Now that I've lost back to that level again, its started again, so I hope that by losing more weight it will stop again.

Hello. Well I'm happy that there wasn't anything abnormal. Have you thought it could be diabetes? There are many problems that can affect what you said you have as symptoms. I'm sure you'll have to discuss that with your doctor, my friend. Sometimes it's necessary to go to a specialist for more testing or see what your doctor has to say about that.
