My MRI results...  |

 I posted a discussion last week about my appointment to get an MRI done of my brain. Many of you responded to it and I just wanted to let everybody know the results. I got a hold of my doctor's nurse on Friday evening and she told me that my MRI was normal. Now, don't get me wrong, I was upset! But, only because I really want to know what is wrong with me and why I have been having pain & numbness in my feet, legs & his for over two years now. It is really frustrating and I just want a diagnosis so I can deal with it and finallyyyy get treatment! I have made a follow-up appointment to see my doctor which is tomorrow afternoon. I guess we will discuss what the next step will be to try to find out what is wrong. Thanks to all of you for your well wishes.

I'm glad to know that the results are normal but I'm not happy to know there's still no diagnosis of what's causing the pain and the numbness. Did you already emphasis this to the doctor? Or had told doctor that you want and need to know what's going on.
It might be normal but in other cases there must something that's causing those pain and we have to know it now before it gets worst.

It is really frustrating to feel these unusual things going on with your own body and yet still cant figure out what is wrong. My husband got the same problem but in his case it's to do with his back. been suffering from a mysterious pain for yeasr but results of ex-rays and mri's etc always comes out normal. I just hope you will be able to find out what is wrong. Anyway on the otherhand I am happy to know that your MRI turned out normal. hope you will feel better though.:)

My husband is gown in his back and a few other problems they are trying to figure out also. We have no insurance and it is eating us uo financially every time he has to go see a dotor. | koalatbs (564) | 6 months ago | Thank you eighternity - My MRI results came out normal so my doctor has referred me to see a neurologist. Thank you for replying and caring. I will be careful. My doctor decreased my nerve pain medication drastically to see what happens, plus they were making me very tired all of the time. My symptoms are getting worse but hopefully won't too much.

| 39. book1962 (14567) | 6 months ago |  hi koala, did you see your doctor by now and what did he say? I mean its good and nice to see that MRI doesnt show anything bad but as you said, still you want and need to know what is wrong and how that problem could be treated.
Hope your doctor has some good ideas on how to cope with that problem and find out what is wrong with you.
