Global Warming?

Having a heat wave I see.

We here are feeling a tad cool too. About 1/2 what it should be normally on the C* scale.

This morning we are a balmy 9*C/48*F. Oh yeah... This shiit has been going on for freakin' weeks. We are normally 18*C/63*F on a day like this in summer in northern BC.

Makes me want to go out and make some greenhouse gases to get things warmer...

It was 93 here three days ago, these sort of anectdotal arguments mean nothing. Become a scientist and study it yourself instead of being an armchair scietific analyst.

There are scientists on both sides of this debate. I recently read an article that theorized that we were already in the middle of a warming trend caused by the sun, the tilt of the earth, etc., and that human activity was just a drop in the bucket. I don't believe that any changes caused by global warming, whatever the cause, are going to be anywhere near as drastic as the fear mongers are trying to make us believe.

As explained by a local meteorologist in my area it's known as "global dimming" which is connected to "global warming". I did a search and found tons of articles but I'm admittedly not a scientist by any stretch of the imagination so much of it was confusing to me. Here's one article that might help:

We are going through a cycle. Right now it is becoming cooler. The Global Warmist want to blame man for everything and will not be happy until all the dogs and cats kept as pets are loose in the street, hunting us as prey, plus those monkeys, lions, and tigers are released from the zoos and roam through the countryside, eating whomever they desire. Or if the people in Northern part of United States and the Prairies in Canada are engulfed in a deep freeze that they will instantly turn to ice when they go out the door.
The reason for this is they forget that man was made in the image of God and God is far from them so they have to blame man.

Glad I don't own a public pool LOL!! I remember growing up we were at the pool from memorial day to early September, now I swear the last couple years its been too cold to swim till July. Global warming is nothing more then a bogus economic shift to those invested in wind farms and alternative energy. DRILL HERE, DRILL NOW!!

The ice caps aren't melting.
The oceans aren't rising.
The rain forests aren't diminishing.
The average temperature of the ocean isn't rising.
Blue crabs are still plentiful in the East, and salmon is still running at top speed in the West.
Giant coral beds aren't dying.
The ozone layer is fine.

Oh yes, it's very clear. We aren't destroying our global habitat. And if we are, our kids will be fine. They'll figure out something to fix the problem--if it's a problem.

So we'll just keep on doing bidnez as usual. The kids can have what's left. It's their problem anyway. We'll have ours--our SUVs, cheap oil and cheaper coal, and all the food we can waste. That's clearly what's important.

We owe the future NOTHING.

It was 67 here in ohio today I about froze going out to the store, yes I can see how gobal warming is so bad, but it might have hit the south, friend said they stopped counting at 107.

All the heat is down here in Florida! We've been in the 90's for weeks now so, if you want me to, I'll put our big fan on the roof and point it in your direction.
