Is mylot a time waster?

Yes you are very right that it is not the site for earning good money.You cannot make easy bucks here and have to do a lot of and work and toil to make some cents.
But mylot is the best social networking website.It is a wonderful platform to share one's ideas,opinions,expressions,concerns and problems.If you have a query,just post here and you will be flooded with valuable solutions from seasoned members.
Our command over the English language gets stronger,if we use mylot on a regular basis and i have personally experienced this.
It is great to make friends from around the globe and you also come to know about their culture,tradition,festivals and living conditions.
Apart from all these benefits,some cents get added everyday in your earnings and it is an added advantage.

I don't think that myLot is a time waster at all. I am not here for the money, but enjoy the conversations and discussions I have had with other members. Admittedly it is fun to watch the cents grow into dollars etc. but it's not my main purpose in being here. - Derek

However, I am not leaving because my purpose of staying here is not for money, but to gain knowledge and share my other online opportunities to others. You might be right about that. I have only made cents in here but I don't spend much time in here either. I only answer to discussions I really like and I only create them when I have something to ask. But I like MyLot as just a message board with a little bonus feature (seeing my cents grow).

I have known people that put out some very quality discussions, have great followup and make a bit more than just spending money on here. I know of one girl who is no longer here that would typically make over $100/month here. I tend to be just a chatter so I only make payout every other month. It's just fun for me, although that little pocket change is nice too!

I think mylot is a nice place. I have learned a lot of stuff, and have even started making friends on mylot. Nope, i don't think its' a waste of time. I have come to enjoy being on mylot. If you are looking for a place that is going to pay out big bucks, then you may want to seek out other places on the internet though.

QWhen I first joined mylot I didn't really look at how to navigate the site but now I am having another go with more success and it is quite fun to search around and especially to see discussions from others from different cultures. Re the money side of it I would hope to earn enough to pay a one off bill for the year though no idea if that will be possible but the idea is not to withdraw any money until I can achieve this goal. For now I am focusing Mylot on the car tax which is due once a year in December and in the meantime find this a better site than others I have looked at which don't pay, so why not dabble here when the computer is on that elsewhere.
