Is mylot a time waster?

I agree that as a money making venture it is a waste of time!

However that's not the reason I'm on here. I just think it's a great site to share ideas and opinions on and learn from. It's a good place to make new 'friends' and to talk to people. Due to the nature of my job I don't see as many people as I'd like and the computer helps me stay in touch with family and friends that are a long way from here.

Anything earned here is just 'a little bonus' and it will be a while before I build up enough to reach the pay-out I've set.

One advantage of this site though is that you can find out which sites are worth going on and which should be avoided if your goal is to make money. Other members of the community will tell you their experiences if you ask!

Well, If you'r looking to make big bucks here the only way I see to do that would be to promote My Lot, build a downline so you'r earning from others. Lots of companies work that way.
But for me, I'd rather be here sharing ideas and discussions than I would on the majority of the PTC PTR and such . They are for the most part ripoffs. At least My lot does pay. I know I can't get rich here, but a payoff every two months is about the same as a good paying PTR or PTC thing.

I dont really come here to make my mortgage or anything. Actually I dont make much here so far, however I dont really spend much time on here. I am going to try to complete tasks to make it a bit more. I mostly come here to work on my writing or just communicate with others according to my interests.

I can agree to your discussion in the sense that no one can ever make a loving by earning online.The extra bucks or cents should always considered as a bonus to your activities and involvement here in this wonderful forum.Well at the end of the day it sure brings a smile on our face to see the money however minuscule it is for the fun you had here.But if you are hell bent on making a fortune here you are definitely a loser.And of late for those people who are here with the sole purpose of earnign the tasks are providing them great opportunity to earn multi folds of what these members have earned by just making discussion s and responses.If one is wise and smart tasks make them from grumbling over the pittance they always complain.

To me it is a waste of time, because I'm not a writer who can go on and on about one subject and I'm a terrible speller, lol. I've made a total of 41 cents since I've been on here what a joke. So my lotting isn't for everyone, but I like reading the responses to some of the discussions.

I agree, Mylot is not going to make someone a lot of money unless they are very active about getting referrals. The best way to see Mylot is a place where you can post messages and chat and exchange ideas and get paid a little money at the same time. If you like chatting online, you may as well get paid for it.

Of course, Mylot may have other benefits besides the Mylot earnings: a person who's a musician, author, blogger, etc can use Mylot to promote their work, which can be as simple as putting their Web site in their Mylot profile. With more than 175 thousand Mylot members, if a person is actively posting here that can add up to quite a few people checking out their profile page and visiting their Web site.

in one way you are right and in other way you are wrong, mylot is gateway for everything, you cannot find this type friendly service of social network,i think most of the social network sites are complicated, in learning

I only come in here when I have nothing else to do...My life is too precious to be sitting in here 8 hours a day, to make a few pennies.

I understand your opinion. But let's say you are looking for a job and have enough free time, it is better being in here, trying to a least pay a small bill than watching tv and not earning anything. So my opinion is I am not wasting my time. I am earning some money and might not be lots and lots of it but it is something I can use vs being on other sites wasting my time for nothing.

I don't think that the majority of the people on mylot actually are here for the money. I do think people are here to find and chat with people that do make money online and the networking aspect here at mylot is great!
