I almost died

OMG thats a bad incident for you. I pray for you please take care of your health above all the heavy stuff you have. How is you little dear, take care of her too. You have to take good balanced and healthy diet buddy. More over don't neglect treatment. Go for medication as often as possible. I have not faced such issues till now in my life. I have met with small accidents but they are not that much risky for my life. I am still unmarried so i would get some day to face this pain too. As i have said i am not married and don't think of those complications of life now.

Whenever i find lady who is carrying i will advice them to take care of their health. And i don't think there is any wrong in giving some tips to them. Basically drinking of water in more quantities can prevent most of the labor pain and bleeding problem. I have heard this from my friends. They use to follow up this tip and had better deliveries. They are healthy after delivery and their babies are more healthy.

OMG, hope that you are alright now. that was scary. i have no terrible experience as being close to death. thank God.

Hope you recover fast and get completely well soon.There is nothing wrong with a bit of rest for six weeks and do take it easy. I have had complications during my pregnancy because I carried twins. But it was highly complicated in the sense that doctors could hear only one heart beat and could feel multiple limbs etc and one very old doctor[ a 78 yr gyn] said that he had never seen a stomach like mine in his career. Imagine how I would have felt. But I used to carry on doing all my normal work and in the final stages it was very difficult and I used to feel that I was pulling a cart along with me while walking.
It is our practice to go to parents' place for childbirth and the gyn who took care of me for the childbirth, was very much concerned.Finally, one child was still born and by God's grace one survived. But after a few years, she used to tell me [ this was not the old one who saw me in the earlier stages]that now treatment is far more advanced than what it was in my time.THis was a long time back .But my parents were more concerned than what I w as because I was not too aware of the situation and was simply happy-go-lucky.My mother was terribly concerned .

That's scary losing a lot of blood, did you have to have a transfusion? The decision to have her at home is odd to me, most people I have known to have children have them at the hospital unless they are some filthy rich celebrity. Is this common in your country?

My first child I had without surgery and after I had her my heart rate went really fast and they had to inject my IV with something that felt painful and cold immediately. I think that was the scariest thing I had happen when giving birth. The other 2 I had c-section and they were surgery I didn't think that was scary.

Right now I have melanoma and it is cancerous on my arm. I got it from driving with the sun hitting that arm for years. I have had a growth there for over 5 years, it's been itching really bad lately. It wasn't until the other day that I read when it starts to itch, it means you have the cancerous melanoma. It may have spread, I don't know because I haven't been to a doctor yet but I kept thinking that it will make me die so I have to go see a doctor and have it removed and whatever else treatment I may need.

Take your rest and make sure you have someone around to help you take care of your little ones.

Hi maximax, Thank God because you survived through that. A lot of women do suffer from hemorrhage after delivery and yes, we can consider your survival as a very big big blessing.

Reading your experience did make me realize how short life is and how vulnerable we mortals are.

So far, and Thank God, I have not experienced near- death situations. I have been in minor accidents and traumas but thankfully they didn't end up into scary situations.

I also hope that medical services should really be striving hard to provide the best of care for everyone. I never thought such problems exist in you area too.

Here in the Philippines, there are very few hospitals where we can really rely on to give quality services. Just 2 weeks ago, my father suffered from Renal Colic and myyyyy did it take forever for that nurse to inject that painkiller. My father had to endure the pain for several minutes and the nurse diodn't even have an ounce of intention to speed herself up. Perhaps we were impatient but who wouldn' be wehen you are in pain, right?

She was pacing back and forth in slow-mo! I mean sloooooww-moooooo! And kept forgetting a lot of things because probably her adrenaline just wasn't working.

There is a lot going on in your life, and I hope things are at peace while drinking and eating nutritious foods and beverages.

That was a scary as having someone put a gun to your head. Yeah, that is an act of abuse that I experienced it was quite frightening. At the same time I had no expectations of a future, it was so surreal...

What will be will be and if I manage to survive I will do the best that I can.

Did your mother and daughter go with you to the hospital?

I did. They did not do a d & c while i was in the hospital, and afterwards, i was loosing a tremendous amount of blood. That was a terrible time in my life, because i did loose my son. He was very tiny, and such a beautiful baby. At least i don't have to worry now, I know where he is. He is with Our Father In Heaven, and that i have no doubt about. He had a heart problem when he was born, and had to have immediate surgery, and that is just a terrible experience for a young mother to have to go through.

it is said that when a woman gives birth, one of her feet is already in the grave. i didnt understand that quote before but i do now. after giving birth, i became eclamptic (got a really high blood pressure 200/140) and i was in the hospital for nearly two weeks. the baby was home 2 days after i gave birth to her. but just thinking about it, God is great for giving me this second chance. i got to see her grow up to be a good responsible person and now she is married and i am a grandmother. isn't that wonderful? ann

The description of death is literally a movement from one life to real life. Jesus almost took you to the real world - our home of peace for all eternity. But I know that whenever Jesus was reluctant to receive your soul, there is more that you has you have to do for him. If you were too far away from Him, I know that you would have died and lost your car. Your car is your body and you the driver. That's what I know. Wish you get better soon. Take care.
