I almost died

Oh my, that is scary! I'm glad you are better now.
It's been so long since I got on mylot that I didn't even know you were expecting a baby.
When I had my second child, I did have some complications and was wheeled in for a C-section immediately. I was conscious all along....and scared for the baby. I'm not sure if it was that or the fact that asthma runs in my family....I found it hard to breathe a few minutes into my C-section and it was getting so difficult that I couldn't even tell or gesture to the doctor that I was finding it hard to breathe. But luckily, just as I thought another minute of this and I am dead, it was all over and the mask was off my face.
Though I had forgotten about it, even during my first delivery ..which was a normal delivery, I found it hard to breathe after a point. But there too the baby was born soon and I was fine. But I remember telling the doctor then that I found it hard to breathe (not that she did anything then).

Hi maximax! I'm so sorry to hear your troubles but am relieved that you are ok and the baby is ok now. I think you're incredibly brave to have your child in the comfort of your home. I don't think I could ever do that. I was experiencing complications towards the end of my pregnancy and the doctors figured I was better in the hospital where me and the baby could be monitored at all times. Congratulations to you and your family!

Congratulations on your new born. May god bless her and you with good health. Well some people do have some severe complications. Why weren't you at the hospital for the delivery. But complications are unpredictable, as least you made it out of it. So take care of yourself in the next six weeks as per advised by your doctor to ensure you can take care of your little girl.
