If you came into a million dollars what would you do?

Ahhhh! Don't tease me! I could do so much with one million dollars. I could pay off all my bills and buy a new house set my kids up for college help some of our local charities and people in need. I could pay my parents back some money. It would just be grand.

If I will have million dollars (49 million pesos in our local currency), I will save 30 percent of the amount to a special deposit account in a bank and let it earn interest for a decade or two. The most chuck of the amount will be used for buying a lot that will be converted to a private resort and rent it out to those who want to stay away from the busy streets of the city and relax. I will also buy an agricultural lot because ever since I was a kid, I dream of having my own farm where there are plenty of fruit bearing fruits and livestock such as chicken, pig and cattle. I will also buy a prime lot and build apartments on it and rent it out and use my earnings to sustain my lifestyle. The rest of the amount will be used for other investments. Once I have passive income, I will donate 20 percent of it to the Church and other charitable institutions.

I will of course, build my dream house and enjoy the rest of my life with my wife and kids.

But for now, this is just a dream that I keep on dreaming but I am finding ways to have such financial freedom so that I can retire early.

yours is a strange dream....But i think God created each species to live their own lives....do the dogs need a home like humans to live? animals need freedom, that's why they are animals & not humans....there are so many disabled human beings, poor & ill old & infants, abandoned, who look upon others for food, medicine to reduce the pain from illness, a shelter to sleep. If i get that money, i'll give atleast some of it for people who are starving....

What would I do?

Be broke in 2 days. lol

I'd pay off everything I owed, take measures to become energy independent, invest in my own business (wouldn't take a lot since I technically already have my own business -- just on a smaller scale), and help out family with their struggles. No particular order in this, but I'm sure it would only take 2 days!:P

You have a very noble idea of buying a peace of land and making it a dwelling for poor dogs. It is great on our part that you wish to help those animals, who just cannot speak. I would like to buy an aircraft, if I suddenly get million dollars and would like to visit different places in the world (including yours).

hi dloveli thats a nice dream you have there. If I had one million dollars I would sure stop commuting and working. However I would not throw the money out of the window for luxuries of all kind. Instead I would see I could move into a better apartment which is properly insulated and just take out as much as I really need from that shower of cash I got, to make it last longer.
BTW as I am a cat person and cant have one right now I would also make sure I got two of these furbabies as nice companions.

i love animals too so when i get a million dollars i will give you half the money and live with you on your animal heaven on earth and its not a dream, any thing is possible if you try a little.

I'd put myself and my kids through college. I'd buy my dream home and pay off the houses of my parents and brothers. I'd make sure that I set some aside to give to charity such as the Make a Wish foundation. I would also like to visit Korea if I had any money leftover to see my birthplace, as I've never been or could ever afford to go.

Hey! You stole my dream!!!! You have described what I have always wanted to do if I came into a lot of money. Maybe we could go into a partnership if we ever got some money but not quite enough???

I would love to do the same thing, but for cats. I'm more a cat person than I am a dogperson, but any disabled animal needs help really and should get help.
I would most likely attend university aswell, because I would have the money for it and even if I wouldn't be able to get my diploma it wouldn't be bad because I would still have lots of money to live from.
