What book are you reading right now?

Currently reading "Home Safe" by Elizabeth Berg. So far, I am really enjoying it.

My 14 year old son used to just roll his eyes when the girls he knew said they were reading "Twilight". So he got smart and read the first book just to know what the girls were talking about. Very clever way to get conversations going with "the ladies", he says. Goofy kid!lol.

I am reading NOT MY TURN TO DIE (Memoirs Of A Broken Childhood In Bosnia) by Savo Heleta, who is a personal friend of mine. His book is absolutely amazing, and what he went through is almost unbelieveable. Somehow those experiences made him a stronger person. I'm happy to help promote this wonderful book, and I'm enjoying reading it.

i am reading a romance book called not his kind of woman a harlequin book. by roberta leigh.

I just finished reading "The Shack." Three different people recommended it so I finally broke down and got it from the library. I do so much research that it is hard for me to read fiction. This was a very surprising book to me. Some of the things in the book have taken me almost a lifetime to unravel and there it was. It was an amazingly enthralling book. I would highly recommend it to anyone. It really digs down deep into your soul and leaves you refreshed.

Right now I am into Arthur Woods books, he is a great author. I have to find a book that when I read a couple pages it grabs my attention, I'm not into reading 2 or 3 chapters before it gets interesting. I do a lot of John Prisim books too. Have never tired Rice's books.

Currently reading Michael Crichton's Disclosure. Not very far into it, but I've read soooo many of his other books and loved them so I have high hopes for this one.

One that wasn't too fond of was Prey though. I mean, I like the concept, I suppose. It just didn't have any characters I could fall in love with.. which I expect from a book.

I did read all of the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice, amazing books. A little sexual at times, made 16 year old me very uncomfortable (lol), but good nonetheless.

I've never read any of the Stephanie Meyer books but i have friends who are OBSESSED with the books. I saw the first movie and i thought it was really cute. It's a cool idea, kinda like the television show true blood.

- The main book i'm reading is Angels and Demons. I saw the movie and started to read the book after i saw it. I got bored with this book (it's too long and detailed) so i've put it down for a bit.

- I'm reading a book about acting, and a book of plays by Ionesco.

Oh! Ive read the series 6x already since i bought all 4 of it. I just finished reading The Host, also by Stephenie Meyer..Im reading an ebook right now from Judith Bronte, its a love story you can find on the internet. You can download the pdf file from her site: www.acacia.pair.com then click on Journey to the Heart and its sequel Abigails Journey. Its really nice, this is the 3rd timei read the story and i still cries everytime.
