Pictures are the chronicle of our lives, right?

So I can understand when my BF goes on vacation and her hubby takes more pictures of stuff without his family in the pictures. There were some of the family, but not a lot. Do you know someone who takes pictures of things more than people?

When I take pictures, it is almost always of people and not things or places. I suppose that demonstrates something about my personality. However, as far as showing pictures to other people, a bunch of pictures of your family or yourself might seem a bit ego-centric. So if you want to show off your trip, perhaps pictures of places and things are a better idea.

Apparently my husband. We went on a nature hike today. I grabbed the camera and snapped a few pics of the kids walking the trails. Hubby wanted to take one of me with all the kids... then he goes crazy snapping pics of the bog and lakes... I have a whole bunch of pictures of just lily pads... had I known I would have taken the camera back!

Yes, but it is always good to have photos of family members having fun and enjoying the vacation as well. Me I tend to take more photos of family then my surroundings unless my family is in that shot also. I take a few of the background. I can't wait to get a new digital camera..cause I miss taking my photos of family.. I have one but it takes a short chunky battery 123 and it usually cost me between $7-10 each battery and only last one day. So that is to expensive for me and I want one that takes AA or AAA and I can use rechargeable ones. Hope your BF had fun though.

Hmm. That's kinda weird. I wonder what's the reason why he takes pictures of things more than family members or of people. This might be some kind of disorder?

Before I had kids, when I would go on vacation I would mostly snap landscapes and things of interest. How many times do you get to see clear blue waters or an archaeological ruin? My husband would be in some of the pictures, but honestly he would get tired of being my subject. (And I would get mad at him for never thinking to take a picture of me, so I could prove we both were there). Now that I have kids, I'm more interested in what they are doing than what is behind them. Sometimes I will have them pose in front of something interesting, but most of the time I'm focused on them.
