Have you ever needed a visa? |
| |
| I have had to have visas and work permits to visit some countries. I got a work permit for Finland and a tourist visa for Hungary. I got a working holiday visa for Australia. It was pricey for me to get a tourist visa for Jordan. I wanted to visit Russia when I was working in Finland but I couldn't afford the accommodation in St Petersburg. Years later I was in the Baltic Countries traveling around the region. I thought about and looked into the possibility of visiting Russia. However the visa charges were far too steep and the paperwork would have been very demanding. Have you ever needed a visa? Which ones? Were they easy to obtain? Have you ever not visited a country because the visa is too pricey or the paperwork demanding? | | | | | |

| | I for myself would like to have a visa in the US, but because of the current crisis there I am afraid to get one. My brother is there in the US and I would like to pay him a visit. I also would like to go to Europe, but I heard for you to get a visa it could really be pricey. For now, I am applying for work in Norway, if ever I am given a visa, then the employer would pay for it. . | | | | | | |

| | Visa fees today were more pricey, every month it increasing. I need to apply for my extension visa here in UK and it gonna cost me £500 for me and my son. But travelling to Philippines and asian countries doesn't need a visa as long as you only stays 21 days, but more than 21 days you need to apply for a visa. | | | | | | |

| | I dont have one but when traveling It is a MUST to have - It is always useful to have a limit to the visa so in case it is stolen you dont lose more than the limit I agree with you it costs a lot to get a visa no matter how much banks says, or tell you that it will not | | | | | | |

| | Several times, normally without too many problems. Going to India in 1991, I had to get a tourist visa, which took about two days. When I wanted to stay in Thailand beyond the foreseen four weeks (allowed to all tourists) a few years ago, I had to attend the tourist visa extension office in Bangkok. This took a few hours. And on the first occasion when I went to the United States, I needed a visa. This, again, I got in a matter of hours. That said, I have never been anywhere really difficult to get in. I have weighed up going to Myanmar/Burma, but not made it as yet. | | | | | | |

| | Hey max, I could write a list here, but let me tell you the two that 'got-away.' By that, I mean Twow we wanted to apply for but for aon reason or another didn't. First was Poland in 1966. My friend and I wanted to visit Poland and Czechoslovakia, but had time for one only. We went to Czechlosvakia. We had plans to drive from England through the Middle East, and The Sub-continent, but when we inquired in London, had to change our plans due to India and Pakistan conflicts. | | | | | | |
