Right now it's so cold here in Minnesota that I am wearing a pair of sweat pants. We are supposed to get into the lower 50's tonight...and it's July? Maybe there has been too many Christmas in July sales!! Tomorrow our high is supposed to be in the 60's! I wonder what winter will bring? How's your weather tonight?

Howdy neighbor, I live in Maine, and it's the same here. Suppose to be in the 50's tonight. Lol, that was funny about "too many Christmas in July sales." Thanks for the laughs tonight. I will have my comforter on the bed tonight. At the sound of the beep it will be exactly 8:30 pm here on the east coast. :O)

Get our your longjohns and then the weather will warm up. It's mind over matter...lol Last night we had horrible storms that were fast moving. Lots of lightening. I wasn't online much as a result. It's great here in St. Louis this morning. No humidity and cooler than normal in July. The sun is brightly shining too. High today is suppose to be around 80 degrees. Awww, my kind of weather. We are finally suppose to have a good weekend.

It is 71 here right now and the low tonight is supposed to dip into the 50's as well. I don't know what happened to the weather, but I am sure it will be back to normal in a few days. I only wish it would stay in the 70's. I don't like really hot weather.

GOOD excuse to make good ol' muffins,
, just teasing w/u. when my youngest was little he just loved muffins but he called them muffits.an older friend of mine found out he liked them so she made them for him all the time. We'd pass her house & he'd say that's where the muffit lady lives. we finally have a little break in the heat & the humidity today. hope it lasts & hope y'all warm up some.HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND.

Our weather here in New Mexico is 94 degrees at 6:15pm. It has been in the 90's for over a week. I'm wishing for a downpour to cool things off but I don't think that is going to happen. I do feel sorry for you to be having weather like that now. I can't believe its that cold at this time in Minnesota. Isn't that unusual?

in july will you have snow? it sounds a joke, but who knows. the world changes every day beyond our imagination.
i live in the UK.
today it was all cloudy. I was lucky. When i walked on the street to the local liabrary it was a little sunny. Not long before i came in the liabary the heavy rain started.
i sat inside and read my book, but i had to leave by six pm when the liabarary will close.
just by six the rain stoped .
how lucky i was.
anyway i didn't think it's a good idea to walk on street in case raining again.
so i walked quickly and now i'm home.

Yeah it sure is chilly here in Minnesota. But I am still a die hard summer man, I wore shorts and tank top doing yard work today. Not tomorrow though. Brrr! Is that a snow cloud I see?
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I think you know how mine is! But it's calmed down and I feel better. Of course I pity the people who are where the storm is moving too! Sweat pants? That sounds so nice. I have such a hard time walking my dog in the heat. It was 100 degrees today, which was cooler than it had been.

Hi there!
We are not lucky enough so as to enjoy snow in winters. There are no mountains in our city and it is a land locked city. Hope winter at your place will bring more joy and snow and you would be able to enjoy it.

I'm in Alberta Canada and it's so hot in my place this evening I'm almost sick. The air is very humid as well making it hard to breath for asthma people.

Hey Jill! Don't worry! The weather here in NY is just as crazy!
It was 88 today and they say it is going back down to the 60's!
Now that makes no sense at all! We are not having July temps
here at all! It has remained much cooler than is supposed to
be here in July! Now, don't get me wrong because I am not
complaining! We have not had to use any airconditioners so
I am thrilled, but it is really strange weather! And so much
rain and thunder storms and I mean serious storms! Storms
that have knocked out power and knocked trees out of the ground!
So, I don't know what to make of this all! And we are supposed
to be having more storms tonight and the temps have now dropped
10 degrees already! Weird huh???

Oh JIll, I just posted a discussion on this same topic before checking my emails. I usually check my emails before posting but my head was reeling as I had just listened to a topic on climate change. I do apologise.
Yes, the wwether is so hot here that we are praying not to suffer from a hurricane. We had a hurricane out of season a year last December. My weather last night was hot and dry. Not a breeze anywhere to lessen the heat or at least to make it bearable.
I cannot believe that it is cold now in Minnesota. Now perhaps, all the dceptics will admit that the world climate is chnaging. Well Hello? The ice caps at the North Pole are melting!

Lower 50 in july my goodness that is cold. They do say climate change is happening but cricky. How on earth do you manage to stay warm.In England it is hot and sultry at the moment with massive storms ,in the south east we have managed to miss most of them, but other parts of the south west and midlands it has been awful. The weather patterns have changed so much just recently, keep warm.
