Do You Say Sorry To Kids If U Think U Have Made A MIstake?

Whenever I made a mistake, I always say sorry even to my son. I think that it is important that they learn the value of humility and apologizing when needed is the best way to show humility.

I think it's important to say you are sorry, especially to children. I think it gives them a positive example of talking about things that are wrong and even feelings. I have always said I was sorry and then said why I was wrong and made sure they understood that I was sorry of how whatever I did effected them. Gives them a good example of how our actions hurt others and how we need to take responsbility for our actions - even as adults.

I would definately say SORRY! if i have done any mistake or hurt somebody be it a kid. Of course kids are normally shouted at for doing mistakes. But when elders do the same they dont face the music. But atleast they should accept they have done mistake and should have the decenc of telling I am Sorry!

Yes mylot friend you mare correct. Because we are elders, we should not hide our mistakes. When i feel i am wrong, immediately i used to apologize even to my own children. And now to my pet dog also i am telling Sorry if i do any wrong to him, And even my dog also understands my feelings by saying so.

I do say sorry to my kid. I hpe to continue the habit even when she grows up. This will help my kid to understand how important it is to apologize. I'm sure if i show my ego she is going to develop her own in a short time.

I really appreciate people who appologize and say "Sorry", even to younger generations. I believe that younger generation simply learn from the older gen and it is wise to behave properly to get them behave well:)

I vote for you in this.A mistake is a mistake whoever did it and we need not allow our pride to prevent us asking sorry to younger ones.In fact,kids will love us more when we are ready to accept our faults.Next time,if they do some mistakes they will immediately ask sorry too.So we should be a good role model to accept mistakes.Cheers!

Yes, it is much better to say sorry when you mean you are sorry. I would also say the same thing if ever I accidentally step on some kids foot or so. Saying sorry should have been easy to do than to say. Some people find it hard to say sorry. Their pride holds them.

Yes i do say sorry to my kids. Because althought we are as parents we are a human, human not lost from mistake. sometimes our kids have bad moods and when we asking something that they would not listening, so we are mad at him. so... why not?, i always say sorry if i made mistake, so i always see my kids say sorry to their friends if they made mistake, they always wisely to do something.

I think that everyone will say that there is nothing wrong in saying sorry even to the kids. However, I feel that there should be some way and some time to say sorry in some cases.
If I have scolded my son for something and later on if I realize that I had wrongly done so, I would find some good way and take him out to some of his favourite place and then say sorry. I would like to see that he does not react negatively when I say sorry otherwise there would be some sort of awkward feeling in his mind for me.

ya sure, whenever if i made some mistake definitely i will ask sorry to that kid, why are we so afraid to ask this, ok any way i will surely ask sorry to that kids
