Have you ever met someone with the same name as you?

Yeah I have met a few people with the same name as me. But the weirdest thing ever was when I met someone with the same first and last name and there is no relation that I know off. It was kind of weird to me.

I googled my name one day, and found a facebook page of some girl with my name. I contacted her and we spoke a few times, but nothing interesting like you!

I found out my art teacher has the same first, middle and last name I do. Found this out because someone called the school for me and gave the call to her. I didn't know what her maiden name was, but I do know.

After that we had a great relationship. She was a mentor if you will. I've shared first names with a person before, but never a full name - what are the odds of that?

Yea everyone has my name!! I hate it that my name is so common because i like to be different and unique. I was actually in school one dasy and there was 3 other girls with the same name as me lol. What makes my name(Eboni) so different is that i spell it with an i. everyone i met spells it with a y

Happy you love the person with your name. My story is quite different. When I was at school, I had a girl with my exact name in a parallel class. I had quite a lot of problems because of our name problem. I lost a lot of things because of her. It was a real nightmare to me. I never ever want to be near to a person with my same name again. I have this funny story about my name. When I was in my elementary school, there is 3 of us who have a same name. Our teachers have to call us by our full name. But our friends is much genius, they give us a nick name and call us by that. That's what we do when our friends have a same name. Sometimes we make a funny name for him/her.

I hardly meet with someone who have a same name with me now. It is a relief actually.

I've met people with the same first name as mine, but it's a million to one shot that I'd find someone with the same first and last names. My last name isn't at all that common in the States, which is good and bad at the same time. It's bad because since it isn't that common, people don't know how to spell it. I don't care if you mispronounce my last name, but if you don't spell it correctly, we're going to have words. lol

I have not met anyone with the same exact name as me, but I did go to college with a girl who shared both my first and middle name spelled exactly the same. We ended up being in the same sorority and she even moved into my room in my apartment when I graduated and moved out. Also, I had a good friend in high school (we are still close) who shared the same name as my grandfather. As this guy was pretty close to my family and lived nearby, he would always come to family functions. Everyone we introduced him to would say "REALLY? You know, I married a man by that name." or "Thats my uncle's name" or "Thats my fathers name" etc. EVERY time. Its like they all forgot about it as soon as they left only to be fascinated again next time we'd introduce him... lol

I have a "rare" name- not one you hear all the time, and i met a girl on my soccer team when i was younger that had the same name, i was astonished because i had never known someone with the same name. My parents made my name up and it was cool to see someone else's parents had too. She didn't spell it the same though.

I went to work for a company 10 years ago and not only met someone whose name was the same as mine but our birthdays were also the same day. What a coincidence!
