During hot days, electric fan or air con?

You are lucky cause you have an air conditioner, and you are right about fan, they give us great help . Air condition consumes high electricity, and it can easily blew up our electric bills . By the way, from what country are you from? Thank you for your response.

Hi i am from Singapore. Not sure if you heard before. But it is quite close to your country.

Yeah I heard about Singapore and I know that it is really close here in Philippines, it one of the country that I wanted to visit. I hope someday I can visit your country.

We are both lucky during office hours, cause in my work place there is also an air conditioner, but sometimes it makes me feel cold when I am at office, cause I think my body can get use to a very low temperature . Thank you for your response. And by the way, what country are you in?

Aircon is very expensive and it can consumed so much electricity. I also here in the Philippines we also use electric fan because we can't afford to buy aircon. Only rich people can afford it. Now that the electricity here in the Philippines is expensive I think using aircon is not practical for ordinary people like us. Now that it is raining I like it very much because I can sleeps better. During summer season it's very difficult to sleep because it is very hot.

luckily, seems here the air-condition is more common than before. we are not rich either, but my friends and some relatives are using it when very hot. dont worry, the a/c will be cheaper and cheaper, and later most people can use it.

You are absolutely right, it is not practical for us to use an air conditioner, because the electricity here in our country are pretty much higher than the other country.

I know it will be more cheaper, cause most of the appliances now a days become cheaper. Can't wait for that, so that I can buy myself one.

I used aircon when we have a lot of visitors in the house. Now, their are only three people in my house..all of them have their own electric fan. This is the way to cool down at the same time saving in electrical bills...

I think it makes your visitors stay at your house more comfortable, because you turn on your air con when they arrived.

Wow you got two air conditioner in your house, your house maybe so big, maybe you could give me one of them if your parents don't use it . I am just like you too, in our company I am the one who always complain about the air con, cause its too cold for me, that my hand almost freeze. I cannot withstand to stay in a so cold place.

You got your own word for electric fan and it is table fan, but why you have called it that way, just because it is put on table? There's a lot of people like us who still use electric fan or table fan to lessen heat during summer while we are sleeping. And you got a nice idea of putting the table fan near window. I sometime put some ice in a small basin and place it in front of our electric, it gives more cooler air . Thank you for your response.

You got a bright idea about the freezing of gallon of water and place it in front of the electric fan, I use to do that do but in a different way. I used to put ice in a basin and place it in front of the fan, so that even the ice melts it wont mess on the floor . It really helps a lot on production of cold air. Thank you for your response and for your bright inputs on how to lessen the heat during summer .
