How long do your running shoes last?  

Mine has been using for more than two years!HA HA..To be frankly, I am a very lazy runner.I run may be one or two times per week.

my running shoes don't last long. the ones i have no i've only had for about two months and they are now starting to wear out...but they are cheap ones. all my other running shoes would last me about 5-8 months. I walk/run daily and i walk more then once a day. i wear my shoes out fast.

So far I've had my Nike running shoes for over two months and they still look brand new. I've run far less in my Vibram Five Fingers, and they are already looking a bit worn. But still have a lot of life left in them for sure!

I run 3 days a week now. But when I started out I only did one day a week, then two days a week. So the shoes haven't been put through that much yet.

I just do a lot of walking everyday. My shoes only last like around 3 months. The brand of shoes are buy aren't Brand name like Nike or Adidas. So I think if I had better quality brand name shoes it would last longer.

I've just started running about 3 months ago. I run 3 days a week for an average of 11 miles per week.
I have nike free's and they still look brand new, of course they only have about 100-120 miles on them so far.
I'm starting to run barefoot. Once that transition is complete my "shoes" will last forever.

I think I read in a running magazine or Web site that running shoes should last around 300 miles (after which the cushioning is worn out, or something like that). Of course it depends on how heavy a runner is, if they strike the pavement with a particular part of their foot that causes the shoe to wear away in one area quickly, etc. I try to use 300 miles as a guideline (if I can remember).
