hot,hot, hot

last year we had 50 100+ days during the summer - this year we are pushing that 50, already, we've been miserable and yeah, we try to run from one air conditioned location to another

It has been in the 100s way too much this summer in Oklahoma. I try to stay indoors with the air conditioner. I seem to be getting more heat headaches, even if I'm not out that long in the sun. I drink a whole lot of water, but even in my apartment sometimes it's just too hot. Since I live alone, I can dress in barely nothing, but the other day someone knocked on the door, and I had to scramble to get more "decent" clothes on.

After a certain point we turn the a/c on and stay inside and goof off. Today was almost one of those days but we toughed it out with the fans.

Hey Snowy, It is going to be hot here too, the real feel with the humidity will be over 100 degrees today. I just took a break to cool down. I have been packing and cleaning most of the day because my husband and I just had the closing on a house. I have my air conditioner running but going in and out of the house with boxes is getting to me. The hottest part of the day is coming soon and I will stop and cool off in front of the computer. I do have 85 more days until I have to be out of here so no rush for now. It is going to be just as hot tomorrow too. I will be driving to our new house to unpack what is in my car and then I will change and go to the lake by my house for a swim. I am moving to the Pocono Mountain area and there are lakes and pools close by. When it gets 98 degrees tomorrow, I will be in the lake! Stay cool and enjoy your summer.

It is supposed to be up into the triple digits here too. The heat doesn't bother me too much, so I will go about my normal routine of working outside when I have to and staying indoors when I can. I have a lot to do out in my yard that I have been neglecting this past week, so I have no other choice than to get the work done. I also have a lot to do indoors though, so chances are, during the hottedt part of the day, I will probably be indoors either at work or doing things around my own home.
