How Old Is Your TV?   

My grandfather bought the TV when I was three so you can just imagine its minimum age if I am old enough to be using a computer. Its one of those huge ones with the speakers attached to both sides. It might be old but it works great and I love it.

My TV is only two years old come September. However your TV I understand the sentimental reasons for you to not want it to die but 16 years is quite a long time for a TV - I think. You can still hold on to it but I think you need to treat yourself to a brand new TV. I seriously hope it last a while longer for you but the end of that TV will come one day and you must face it sooner or later. Good luck to you.

My oldest Tv would be the one that my grandparent gives to my mother (i think in 1973/74 i don't remember the whole story about that tv). Anyway that tv is still function, and we incurred a lot to maintain it and make it to have colours (previously the tv screen display is only black and white).

We love it so much as it brings a lot of memories, especially to my mother (I wonder what would it be).

I Personally Don't Believe In Repair .. We Just Give The Old Ones Away For Whatever reason .. We Have just Moved in To A New House .. All The Items Along With The House Are Brand New ..

Our TV is very old. We have used it for nearly 12 years. It is 33" inches and it still works good today. We are not going to buy a new TV set as long as this one still works good.

the oldest TV I have is 1984 Panasonic's color TV. It is 21 inch. But we don't use it anymore. It has sentimental values. Now we watch Sony flat just 3 years old.

The tv in my lounge room is only 18 months old but the one in my bedroom is about 7 years old. I also have an old tv - with the chnnel dial (no remote) that still works in the spare room cupboard.

My oldest TV is almost the same age as yours. It's a 27 inch Magnavox and is still going strong after all these years (knock on wood). My husband and I got it shortly after we moved in together as we wanted something bigger than the 9 inch TV that he had. At least I'm pretty sure it was a 9 inch. LOL

I find it amazing that it still works as great as the day we bought it. And here our oldest son hosed it down a couple of times a few years back! It's just like the energizer rabbit and just keeps going and going and going! I hope it lasts us for some time to come as I'd hate to replace it.

Well our news old was bought last year and our oldest one is from 1992 LOL The oldest one needs to go to the trash but, we have to many video game systems and so it has one of them hooked up to it. That one also has to be whacked LOL and well the buttons don't really work on it anymore, sometimes when you try to turn the volume it turns the channel
