What's the worst thing your parents did to embarrass you?

I think that what you have encountered is not enough to call that embarrassment from your parents, particularly your mother. The one in the cashier should be the one who is embarrassed if you talk back and tell her that it's not her business to ask that to you. I have not been in a situation where I am embarrassed because of my parents have asked me to do. Good day to you and I hope that I will not be embarrassed with my kind of response.

Mine did so many things that i can't pick out one. I lnow that will sound ugly to alot of folks but they don't know the long story. I'm sure i dud things that embarassed my boys, the worst probaly hollering at their ballgames. I have to admit i was pretty vocal especially w/the umpires.

Well, my Daddy was an alcoholic so does that count? Not a drop down dead drunk but always slightly well lubricated and he was the cause of our riches to rags story! My eldest sister never forgave him but that is another story. he came to school just once in my entire school lifew and he chose that one time to be slightly drunk. I was mortified - only 10 at the time.

I have embarrassed my children on occasions yes. We all do it usually unknowingly. Once we were in a store in the city looking for material to purchase - all six of us - and I fingered the material on what I thought was the shirt of a model and said out loud that the pattern was nice but the quality was cheap.

Only it wasn't a model but a real live young man. To add to their embarrassment I then apologised and said that I thought that he was a shop model. My whole family deserted me and ran for he door. I ran behind them telling them to come back and that I had apologised.

Another one was just after sugery when I was just at home and bloated with gas. A friend of my son came to visit me and both my son and daughter plus the friend were in my bedroom talking.

I passed the loudest sounding gas you could ever imagine and to cover up my embarrassment I continued to talk as if nothing had happened but both son and daughter quickly exited the room and left the friend and we continued to chat, in a very polite manner.
Then my son came in and took him by the arm and told him that he really didn;t have top stay in the room with me. I could hear them all laughing in the sitting room and I was so embarrassed. Then son and daughter came into my bedrroom when he left and asked me how I could do that in front of their friend. As if I did it on purpose!

I try hard to embarrass my girls but, apparently, having me as thier mother has made them immune to it.
My mum used to have one of those loud laughs that comedians like and I was a very shy teenager, she embarrassed me every time we went to the theatre. Dad eventually started buying aisle seats so I could sit across the aisle from mum and pretend I wasn't with her.

Well, my grandmother did something to embarrass me. We were at the restaurant and just finished eating. I needed to go to the bathroom and my grandmother went with me (though I said I didn't need her too). There was a long line and we waited for awhile. Then this lady came with a stomach ache and asked us if she could go first. the lady in front of us said okay except my grandmother started yelling at her for cutting in line and grabbed my hand and shoved me into a bathroom stall. She wouldn't let me get out. It wasn't even my turn. Awwww but she is still my grandmother

My mom used to take us to school in those big sponge rollers, but...then...everyone's mom did that! Hhmm....I guess....she wasn't so embarrassing when I was younger, she saved it all for her older years. Now she does things like yell in the Wal-Mart, or cuss at people in a store. LOL! Eeek!!!

lol.you are good kid that buy bras for your mom even it embarrassed you .i never bought bras for my mum and she always likes her style not i choose for her.by the way,i don't remind that i did something embarrass to my parents because i didn't live with them for a long time.maybe i had in my childhood but it is hard to remind.maybe will share with you later for that
