Class Reunion 2....there's something I have to tell you!

I started a discussion earlier about my 40th class reunion....so this is also about my reunion.....in the first discussion you might remember that I mentioned about my best friend and my first love ending up together....well what I didn't tell you was how they did it. It was on a Sat. night and I was supposed to go out with him. I was uptown at a restaurant where everyone hung out! He was supposed to pick me up in front of the restaurant where about 50 or so kids just sat outside drinking soda etc. Well he drove right by me.....went down to my best friends house...and picked her up then they drove by me with her sitting right next to him. That's how I found out they were interested in each other. I was devastated and totally embarassed! I didn't even know how to react! So I walked home knowing I lost my best friend and my boyfriend of four years. I cried most of the night. The next morning she shows up at our house and my mother literally chased her away and told her never to come back. That was over 40 years ago. The whole situation left me with feelings of not trusting anyone. But I am sooooo glad things turned out the way they did. This spring my new book came out. What happened that night and the next few months seemed like a good way to start a book. So the beginning of my new book is what happened between the three of us. I am not in any way afraid to face them head on. But the book does give details including what my father said...which was..It was a good thing they found each other so they didn't wreck it for two other people! I guess in some ways I am going because I know that I have had some recourse. I harbor no anger or anything...but it was a good way to get over it. I might be a bad person.....but maybe it's true that what goes around comes around...I hope you don't think badly of me for putting the truth to print. I know I'll be walking in that room with my head held high.....and I don't care what they think!

Hey jill! Did they end up together and get married? WTF? How could your best friend and boyfriend of 4 years do that to you? They never told you straight out that they were together? How disgusting! I'm glad you wrote a "tell all book"! I would have done much more than that! What a horrible way to find out that your boyfriend was cheating on you with your best friend and she had the nerve to show up the next morning like nothing happened! I would have killed her! But, I guess it all happened for a reason because your life ended up for the better! You didn't belong with that azzhole anyway and you ended up having beautiful children with someone else! Are they together now? I doubt it! Can't wait to hear about the reunion! Will be waiting breathlessly!

Yes they got married.....and she is in charge of our class for the reunion.....after it all happened he tried to get me back a year or so later.....then I had found someone else.....he told everyone he wouldn't get married to her until I was married....and that's exactly what he did...he waited for me to get married to someone else before he ever proposed to her.....It did turn out for the best. Way better then what I had ever expected!

Wow, that sounds like it would be a good book. Did your best friend and boyfriend get married? Yes you can walk in that room with your head high. I do believe that what goes around, comes around. I've seen it happen way too many times. I hope you go, have a great time, think about what happened many years ago, glare at them, laugh at the fact you have written a book about the incident and are profiting from their ordeal. As a result, you are a much better person.

I would be a bit uncomfortable in that situation but it wouldn't stop me from going to the reunion. You might thank them for giving you fuel for your next book...lol Vacation was good. Was so glad to get home though back in my own bed.

My mom never did things like that....and she was swearing and she never did that either! But my mom sat with me the whole night while I cried....at least until I could sleep.....I miss my mom!

Hey yo are doing the right thing. Isn't it amazing what can happen to us in life that we later use the experience in something else? Look how you used in in your book? Isn't;t that wonderful? You certainly got he last laugh in this siutation. Just go in there with our head held high and enjoy the moment. He is probably that bald very obese man who is wheezing and puffing and can barely stand. Yo are certainly not a bad person - just a HUMAN ONE. You are going to have such fun over this one. Please let me know how it turns out.
