AndryKitty as usual you and I agree. This one one instance I support Mrs. Obama but I also think it's a smoke screen to deflect the media from reporting real news. It was even on the Today show this morning. Not a peep about Obama he seems to be keeping a low profile at the moment on healthcare.

Conservatives wear shorts too when it's hot out. Many of us are actually MUCH less formal than one would expect with a label like "conservative" and can usually be found wearing jeans or shorts. LOL

LOL Sorry she said something about should Obama dress more conservatively. I wasn't trying to say that conservatives were old prudes. Well I mean some probably are and some probably aren't. The whole conservative thing really baffles me that whole social fiscal, I'll admit it I don't get it but, I really don't want anyone to think that I believe conservative wear long dresses, hats and other types of old fashion clothing. I'm really glad you're the one that said something and not someone else.

I'm conservative and at this moment my shorts are so short that my butt cheeks are hanging out...but that's because my butt sags; the shorts aren't actually that short; they're more like capris....LOL

Seriously though, this is really the stupidest thing I've seen reported in a while. The woman has 20 servants, including a makeup artist and a hair dresser and the only thing people are going to talk about is the length of her skirt or the style of her dress? Isn't it sorta kinda demeaning?

Those who know me know I'm just as opposed to religious tyranny as I am to government tyranny. There is surprising little difference between the two if one looks at history. Both result in loss of liberty and life and violate the Constitution.

Personally I don't know why anyone wouldn't want limited government, low taxes and maximum personal freedom. I think most people are smart enough to make their own choices and be accountable for those choices, which is directly opposite to what the government thinks. I think the government is irredeemably corrupt and I don't trust it one tiny bit to do what's best for me or my family. Or you.

That's my political philosophy in a nutshell, and I find that most people, when they strip away the rhetoric and actually think about it, tend to agree with me.

I think that we can all agree no matter what political party we are that government officals CAN'T be trusted. Since I've been alive I haven't seen one president that didn't spend conservatively and there hasn't been one that was for small government.

Left libertarianism actually is close to communism but vastly different from the type of libertarianism that you will find these days in the US. Thanks to people like to Ayn Rand and Rose Wilder Lane and Leonard Read libertarian in the US doesn't mean statist.

Oh yeah...there are as many types of political philosophies as there are people.
