So, you say you like the Doctor and can't get enough (that would be me BTW) so check out this version of him! I'm so there, as soon as it shows and I can get it to download, I'm watching! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvandradio/doctor-who/6066703/Doctor-Who-cartoon-first-picture.html Would you watch this version? Honestly, I don't care, bring him on!

I would not watch this version. It's the interaction between the actors that I enjoy, the facial expressions, the small mistakes, the barely hidden giggles when they're not supposed to be laughing. It's not just the story I enjoy, it's watching it expressed by real people who interact with each other.

my roomie's monitor is better than her TV and NO COMMERCIALS! I would like it to be given the air time myself, but I'll take it any way I can get it!

Was this Dreamland? (10th Doctor ends up in an 1950's Roswell) I saw it last week and it's a good story, aimed at a younger audience than the series (made by CBBC - Childrens BBC - instead of BBC Wales/drama department) but it's not dumbed down that much & has a bit of social history/politics to it re the Cold War & Native Americans. The computer generated animation's a bit angular and walking/running looks awkward at first but you soon get used to it. The script and David Tennant's voice acting is true to the character and there's even a suggestion that this takes place during The Doctor's 'holiday' between the end of Waters Of Mars and the start of The End Of Time part one.

Yeah, it was Dreamland and it was really good - I watched it a few weeks ago with the roomie and a friend.
