Does your partner remember your wedding anniversary every year?

I haven't had the problem. So far in the past 14 years, my husband has never forgotten our anniversary. We try to celebrate by at least having a special dinner. Next year it will be 15 years, so maybe we will do something extra special. Sometimes we get so busy with everyday things, that I do fear that I will forget special days like this. I'm starting to set up reminders on my cell phone for everyone's birthdays, anniversaries and such.

We know we are married and celebrate every day, so the exact date of our anniversary is just not a big deal for either one of us. Sometimes I forget and he remembers, sometimes we both forget, but we have been married a long time and still love each other and I think that is what matters. In our marriage, though, I have been the one more likely to forget "important" dates than my husband, although I have never forgotten his birthday, but that is because it is on a really big holiday. Mine is not, but he has never forgotten it anyway. He is just very good that way.

I'm not married but I would be surprised if my boyfriend forgot seeing as he has a tattoo with the number 22 on it, which is my birthday date and the date we got together.

I have to be honest I am the one who usually forgets. My husband reminds me when it gets close but if someone just asks for the date I can be sure it is the month of August.

We both remember our wedding anniversary but niether of do anything to celebrate it these days as he often works and we don't really bother anymore.

I am a persone who plans meticulously any occasion whether it is a birthday or hosting friends and relatives .So I am not sure whether he forgets our anniversary .I keep noting the schedule for the d'day.It is I who decides which temple to go and whom to meet and what to prepare .My children also ask me what is my plan .So no chance for him to forget the day

Hello kalav. Both my wife and I remember our wedding date, but as we work in a different city, which is so far from each other, we don't have any chance to stay together to celebrate it on that special day. What we can do is to make a phone call to each other to celebrate it. I am sure that we will be able to make it in a couple of years when my son goes to college. By then we will be working in the same city. Take care.

My frist6 wedding anniversary is going to be in the coming January and I think my husband remembers it. We are thiking about planning something for the wedding anniversary. He lives in another country presently as a part of his job. He is coming to spend Christmans and wedding anniversary with me. He is going to book the tickets in a couple of days.

I never had a problem with that, he never fails to remember our anniversary. I dont think it's a good idea to keep on announcing it for him to remember because he might be too dependent on you. I guess its a mutual responsibility being a couple. It's like a duty to one another to cherish and recall your promise to one another and to still keep it and make your relationship more stronger.

Hi Kala, I don't remember my partner has ever forgotton our anniversary, but last month it was hubby's birthday which I remembered till night but forgot in the morning. When my son called to wish him, then I remembered. Actually we had some guests the previous night and I was extremely tired, maybe that can be the reason for it.
