Who/ what wakes you up in the morning?

I have an alarm clock to wake me up but i don't always need it. We have cats that just seem to know that it is time to get up, They come to my bedroom door and scratch and meow until the door opens.

On Wednesdays it's the garbage truck, and the rest of the week it's my basset hound. He doesn't bark or even whine, he just puts his cold nose on my feet, which I always hang over the edge of the bed.

The alarm clock goes off then the cats get me up.

my alarm clock wakes me up in the morning or my mother saying get up, get up u are getting late to go for work.

During the week, my internal clock wakes me up about 15-30 minutes before the alarm goes off. When I can sleep in, it is generally a dog staring at me that wakes me up.

During the week I have an alarm clock and I set my cell phone alarm as a backup. On the weekends when I don't have to wake up early, of course, my daughter wakes me up at 7am or earlier. During the week I have to wake her up!

Well, we have a Brazilian church behind our house, and the Pastor has about 15-20 peacocks that he keeps their. Usually I wake up with the alarm on my phone, but during the weekend the peacocks are my alarm. Just go to Youtube and search Peacock call or noise or something like that. They are LOUD! And these are pretty dumb, so they tend to wander and lose each other easily, then they freak out, stand around like dummies and start "calling" for each other. It's funny sometimes, but not on a Saturday morning, lol.

Although I have an alarm set that is only for emergencies. It is the rare morning that I don't wake up at least twenty minutes before the alarm goes off. This happens no matter how long I stay up at night.

I guess you just don't need as much sleep when you get older.

For me it is my telephone. I can sleep through the alarm clock. And I've been known to hit the snooze button repeatedly and not remember doing. I can sleep through the garbage truck on Tuesday mornings (twice) once the regular garbage truck and the second the recycling truck, even though it has to back up all the way to the top of our road so it has the annoying beeping sound going. But, if my telephone starts to ring, I will wake up in a heartbeat. It usually isn't even someone that I want to talk to, but I guess it is the ring tone that I've got it set to that wakes me up.

alarm goes off beep beep beep then a second care giver calls good morning Patsie. by this time I am not only wide awake but thinking what the heck is good about getting up at six in the morning.?I am just not an early morning person. Early for me is more like 8 or 9 oclock in the morning.
