Sweetie Pie, Buttercup......

I've often wondered if Adam ever said "I'm sorry" to Eve. There he was in the garden, listening to Satan tempt his wife, and he did nothing to interfere, to keep her from giving in and plunging the two into chaos. He was there and he was silent. I wonder if Adam lived his near millennium long life never talking to Eve about his shame. But his descendants, the modern men have not inherited this silence. When men seeks to disrobe a woman, either physically or in cases of public discussion, it is almost primal longing for the days of Eden in which nakedness was "community Standard". The 'holy assets' of Eve and her descendants have been fantasized and dramatized much like an adored screen idol. Why does it attracts more interest then the property of the offending party? Not only is that a joke, it's incredibly disrespectful and damaging to women, the place they emerged and return.

We don't know if he was silent. Perhaps Satan spoken with him first, and not being able to make up his mind, he replied to Satan, "Go talk to my wife". It could be the first time a man set up a win-win situation for himself. Regardless of whether the answer was yes or no, if the results were good, he could boast that his wife was doing his bidding. If results were bad, he then had some one in whom to place blame.

Hello my friend zandi458 Ji,
Wow! you great ideas and sense of humour. But, under present scenerio, people wis to have evidence. So they discuss/react and never agree with another. Aam was wise to keep mum and listen only. I think, anything which kept hidden generates curiosity and open out to all. Why not we learn some lessons from your discussion.
May God bless you and have a great time.

Hello my friend zandi458 Ji,
It means Adam acted as per nature, there was nothing wrong. It was an natural urge. I think Newton did great thing by explaining that "EVERY ACTION HAS GOT EQUAL AND OPPOSITE REACTION" It is an natural. Let's come to compromise.
May God bless You and have a great time.

you have touched a vital point, zandi.this is a hot topic of discussion between me and my hubby, with him always losing.i always tell him that one has to take responsibility for ones own actions and try to correct oneself,if wrong instead of putting whole blame on the partner,i,e,if he wants the relationship to succeed!

Huh? I am a little lost here. What has the women's asset got to do with the phases "Sweetie Pie" or "Buttercup"?
And how is Adam's saying "I'm sorry" to Eve got to do with and over dramatized focus on her... erm... assets?

we would never know what really transpired between adam and eve before the temptation and after they were tempted except for what we read on the bible. there is really lots of question about adam and eve. some people don't believe that story. but i do though. some thing it is not possible for all men to come from one parent as we all looked different as we have so many different nationalities with so different kind of physical features.

We would not have inherited the sins if only Adam has intervened when the devil tempt Eve.
