some people who are in a hurry in the morning usually gets their coffee at a near coffee shop and have it in the office. i work at nights so i dont have any experience regarding that. so if you are on the go and grab a coffee on the way to work would you have donuts or sandwich. if that would happen to me i may getting donuts today and sandwich tomorrow. so i wont get tired of eating donuts and dont get tired of eating sandwich. though i love hotdog sandwich and i guess i can eat the daily. har har har

If i am on the go, the i think donuts is much handy to eat than sandwich. Like couple of donuts with a cup of coffee are enough as breakfast for me. I can get it done before i reach the office while driving. But in real life, i don't do that, i just have two pieces of bread and cup of coffee as breakfast at home before i go to work. haha....

good point my funny cute avatar friend. donuts are more handy than sandwich, and everyday there are a lot of flavor to choose from.
but my wife is more concern me eating sandwich. as i said before my family has diabetes so she would be happy if i eat more of sandwich than of donuts. thanks a lot for the response

She is right , Pal! Donuts are bad for diabetic, too much sugar in it, in your case, stick with the sandwich like your wife said. Even though i don't have diabetes , i also reduce eating donuts due to its high sugar content and not healthy for a middle age man, according to the doctor.

If I had to pick between the two, definitely donuts. I can't fathom eating a sandwich in the morning...although when I was growing up in the Philippines my favorite breakfast was pandesal with a little hotdog inside, or with cheese. Usually when I'm on the go, I grab either a bagel or a muffin from the coffee shop. Much more filling and I convince myself that they are healthier too.

thanks a lot for the response and i guess sandwich is kind of messy. and yes when we are younger pandesal and cheese is a big hit. do you enjoy pandesal and rino too? or cheesewhiz har har har. that is a big hit with me and my siblings. a muffin and a coffee is something that i will choose too.

donuts are so sweet but sandwich can be messy. if we are on the run and on the go i guess donuts are the best thing to eat. but if we reach a working place that we still have more time then a sandwich is okay. when i was working i only drink coffee i forget to eat donuts or sandwich. but hotdog is a good example minus the buns.

you have a good point, donuts are sweet and sandwich are messy. you also havea good point regarding eating hotdog minus the buns. hotdog without the buns can really make us full too. thanks a lot for the response but eating is not a question whether that is sandwich or donuts i know we will take a bite. har har har

I like to switch things up and have something different every day. I try to get up on time to make my coffee and grab some fruit or something. Once in a while I'll stop and grab something, depending on how much time I have to get to work and what is on my way. Donuts are good but I usually would get the big, messy kind and end up being all sticky. Hotdogs are a great idea! There are a lot of places that sell other kinds of meat here in breakfast sandwiches, since you mention it, maybe a hotdog on the way wouldn't be a bad idea!!

i think that is good but on my part i am not a fruit eater person. i do eat fruit but not always. i would rather drink it than eat it har har har. i eat fast so i can stop on a hotdog stand and eat first before going to ran for work. that can be a work out already. thanks a lot for the response

Hello Bird. How are you ? For me doughnuts for sure. That used to be my standard breakfast during my university days. Just like you are saying, the class starts 8 o'clock, and I have to rush not to be late. I would pick up a couple of doughnuts and a cup of coffee on the way and run, enjoying breakfast while running ! The manager at the doughnut shop would be shouting from behind " look, look, he is running ! ". Ha ha ! So, even today, I would stay with doughnuts !

I wouldn't start my day with sugar. Caffeine is good enough to get you going but donut is like an early desert with about 12g of carbs! Egg/vege sandwich would be good but i don't know about hotdog sandwich and i hate ketchup in the morning...sounds like lunch to me.

Sandwich for me please! I love the breakfast sandwiches I used to get at the gas station that was in town. They had a nice variety, and were always warm. My favorite would be the egg, cheese, and bacon sandwich. I like donuts on occasion, but I only like two kinds of donuts, plus they aren't warm. I like warm things for breakfast, it seems to get me energized faster. =]
