How often do you sweep your floors?  

That is about how I do things too. I usually do have to sweep the kitchen floor everyday to keep the grit monster away..LOL..I really believe that my friend is a complusive cleaner when it comes to the floors. Clean is nice but it can be too much..You have a nice day..

I must say that cleaning isn't fun and I too much cannot not be that good. I mean could you imagine if something was to happen that she couldn't clean the floors what kind of crazy that she might go thru. I like a clean house too but...there is a limit....

You must be one of the lucky ones to have a servant in their home...I would love to have one in mine..I like to have a clean house too, but...isn't she getting alittle carried away with it...I do sweep the kitchen every day for cleaniness reason and then the rest of the house gets done like once a week. I sweeping our floor everyday but we sweep also at night. I hate when the our floors have dust. Sometime I feel ashame of our house if it is disorganize and dirty when someone going to visit us I don't want them to think that we are messy people. I think your friend is compulsive like I do sometimes I'm also like that I hate it when my Father doing so much clutter in our kitchen. I want anything to be clean and organize.

She doesn't have any kids at all. She does have two boston terriors. They are like her kids. Maybe that is what she is doing. Keeping the floor gritty free for them. I just thought it was kinda odd to sweep that much in that little time..Thanks for your comments.

I never thought of it that way. We hadn't seen them for over 4 months andthey do live about 80 miles away from us. Humm...I will have to ask her that. Good point to bring up. But now what if that was true, I will feel really bad about being there..

Don't feel bad, but if it was true and she couldn't tell you to your face then, I sure would not expect her to answer truthfully now if you asked her! I am sure your friend loved seeing you, but maybe something came up suddenly just before you arrived that put her in a tight spot. Or maybe she is just compulsively clean, lol. I would surely just let it pass.

This sort of thing is why I prefer to do most of my socializing in what we call a "neutral place" such as a restaurant. That way anybody can graciously back out at any time and nobody needs to worry about overstaying their welcome. If we are not hungry or don't want to spend money on food, then maybe we meet at a park or in a shopping mall.

I will sweep an extra time if I know someone is coming over that evening. I normally just sweep sometime in the morning. I think she is over doing the cleaness too. Thanks for your comment and you have a nice day..

I know Im glad that I ain't that bad, and more thankful that my hubby isn't that way either. I know when I was raising my boys, I was told once from a doctors wife that too clean cause major allergie problems for kids when they start to school. Thanks for your comment and you have a nice day...

Isn't it funny how we start off being the perfect housekeeper and then it is the kids or we have to go to work. Yeah My hubby is laid off now too. I don't work so we share the chores. That was what I was trying to say. Thanks for filling in the blanks. I do think that she is complusive cleaner...She does have a cloth her hand most of the time. I know she has a new home and all but she did this with the old one too.
