Hi Mylotters I'm very thankful that I have good neighbors I have lived here at my home for 17 years but I didn't always have good neighbors the couple that lived next door before had a wife who was filing for custody of the children so they would argue backand forth and he would chase her out of the house cuss her out ect.. always something going on over there, they were renting the house from our former neighbors and we had to tell them you got to get these people out of here the other neighbors are complaining about all the loud bickering and fighting. So they got the boot and the other guy that lives there now is pretty cool. My neighbor to the left of me is a real good guy he's been my neighbor for about 12 years now very thoughftul we look out for each others kids when it snows (he has a snow plow he will do our yard too and he always asks us if we want to use his truck to haul unwanted furniture, He also keeps his yard lookin great and always says hello and we do the same so we get along very well as neighbors I know thats not always the case anybody out there want to share their experience about their neighbors?

I love my neighbors because they're family. My daughter and her family live on property we own next to us and my husband's nephew and his family live on the other side. We also have other relatives in the immediate area.

Hi Spalladino Well Lucky You! Now thats they way to do it LOL To bad we all don't have that same luxury of having our family live next door to us there are some pretty nice perks to having them as your neighbors I'm sure :-)

My old neighbour was awful, always rowing with her boyfriend in the street and if you looked out of your window to see what the noise was, she would shout f*** off, even though she was ALWAYS twitching at the curtains. Her mother was also a nightmare as she stole my wheelie bin. My new neighbours are much nicer. They shout a lot but they are friendly at least. Ahhh! Peace at last.

Hi Crystaltips Don't you just hate it when people argue out on the street like that with no regard for anyone else and the language is awful like you really want to hear that crap they behave as if they are the only ones living on the block and becauase their outside they can play the music as loud as they want and talk and swear at the top of their lungs if they want as long as they are on their own propery (thats how one of my neighbors used to be too until I said something to him about it.

Hi Crystaltips Don't you just hate it when people feel as though they can stand in the middle of the street and shout at the top of their lungs all sorts of foul langueage and then if they think you may have the slighest problem with it they start swearing at you too? Iv'e seen that happen before more times then I care to remember LOL They have no regard for anyone else who may be in ear shot of them especially children here in my neighborhood from time to time you hear F**** this and F***that every other word as if they have no other vocabulary skills. A lot of the times its mostly the teenagers and young adults.

cherry hi well no not the ones we had about fou r years ago.the woman was a total nut. she would thump on the ceiling for the slightest sound from our apartment and no matter what we did to keep any sounds' down she complained, day and night, even one night at three in the morning she is on our balcony yelling I got you evicted and I am glad.she never wquit till we moved out then we found that the manager wanted to get us evicted so she could rent our apartment to her best friend. so we c alled the owners of the apartment complex and they paid us our deposit and a months rent altho they did not overturne the eviction.so we had rent money to move into the new apartment with. this was back about s ix years. she was quite frankly a psycho who got into with the managers friend and was finally evicted herself. the same old thing, people upstairs walked on the floor.

Thankfully I've been lucky enough to have good neighbours, we would normally chat and say hello but the current batch that have moved in, well I'm sure that they have ascended from the deepest pits of Hell! Very graphic I know but they are a real nuisance! They have these wooden floors above me and they are constantly dropping furniture and causing a right racket! I wish that they would just leave. I've had some problems with them, I'm generally a peaceful chap but they have been causing some real feelings of anger deep inside of me. I sometimes curse them under my breath and I'm not normally like this. Oh well!Andrew

I There I don't quite like my neighbours because they are so nosy but i guess sometimes this attitude of them can be of great use as they will defenitely see if someone break into our house they are some kind of security guard cheers!

I always had the same neighbours till now and I can say that they are really great. They are not only neighbours but also friends and are the ideal persons to have next to you. I wish that everyone had neighbours like ours.

Hi Omiami Your very fortunate to have neighbors that you get along well with it makes it a lot easier to come home after work and be able to relax and get on with your evening without having to worry about rowdy or obnoxioius neighbors

I've lived here for 25 years and at first it was pretty good. Then the people next door bought a house and the place went thru several tenants, one group I called CPS after I found out they were leaving the kids alone for HOURS on end with only an 11 yr old looking after a 3 yr old, an 18 month old and a new born. Then the house across the street has also been a rental and one group stayed a month and stole everything out of the house AND the lady next door's hanging flower pots. The next group had people there 24/7 playing obscene rap music at ear bleeding volumes and causing lots of problems. They were finally evicted, but continued to plague the lady who now lived next door & her small children, sometimes in the middle of the night. The partnership that owned that house broke up and it was sold, the people that owned the rental across the street also sold the house so they are both owned now. my good neighbors on the other side sold their house and the new neighbors lived there until they could move up, but are now renting the house - other than the fact that the renters didn't do anything about the downed limb in their yard (tho we had someone right out to get it out of ours and make sure the fence was safe) was a bit worrisome until I ran into the daughter of the owner and let her know of the problem. Now, actually, the biggest problem I have is with the one original neighbor still on the street, she's not responding well to medicines since she has lupus and sometimes is outside screaming at the kids...

the neighbors on the left side we have had no problems at all and there really good people. the other ones on the right are also really good neighbors despite having some problems in the past. one was we had to get a fence because our dog kept useing the bathroom in their yard and we went to court because they got tired of it but got a warning and said next we would be fined however we got the fence afterwards but i respect their decision as its their property. on the other hand after we got the fence there was a big storm and their tree branches from their tree fell on our fence and broke it on that part. my dad even brought a lawyer over because they refused to pay for the damages our fence. so my dad gets a lawyer to come over and even being at a middle school age i knew the lawyer was going to decide in my neighbors favor as they didn't intentionally damage the fence. the lawyer didn't take the case and he said in legal terms what happened was considered an Act of God. so my dad had to end up paying for the fence that their tree or God in legal terms broke. at least they got the trees cut down afterwards.

For some strange reason, in every house I've lived at, I've never really felt inclined to familiarize myself with my neighbours. I have been on healthy terms with every neighbour I've had, for example, saying "Hello" anytime I walk past them, yet nothing more than that. Thankfully, I've never had any neighbours who have been a particular problem. There have been times when I've had very minor complaints, yet all in all, every neighbour I've had has been perfect.
