Delete it quickly. Do not waste your time. These people are trying to extort money from you. Do not be fooled. A friend of mine responded and ended up traveling to Switzerland, emptying her bank account and coming home with nothing.

They send those fake messages all of the time. Just delete them.

I got lots of it actually and if I have kept all those emails I could be a billionaire already in here. I have heard all sorts of stories from lotto winner, a banker looking for investor/partner for a certain fund restricted, looking for an heir who can claim an account of a dead account holder and many other similar stories.

The first time I heard about this, I tried responding only to know that they would require you to send some money to them so they can process the money they would send you. At that point I never followed them sending me. I told them if I have that much money then they just removed the fees they are asking from me. From then on they stopped emailing me. I think they are just plain crooks trying to lure you from getting greedy like they are.

It has happened and my first reaction was to delete the mail.

I have not applied to any lottery with my email and I'd only do so with a trustworthy group, so, if regardless of this I'm getting an email from an unknown source claiming this it's clearly a scam.

Of course, people who have no common sense and have greed jumping out of their eyes quickly get swayed by this and screwed, but little can be done for those people. Even if they are educated on the matter they'll still think "Just now it won't hurt.", later results being terrible.

I get lots of those kinds of spam emails, even one who says that he's a relative of someone who died and left lots of money and want to deposit it to my account. What I do is that I ignore these emails because I don't even know who they are and I don't remember joining any online contest (because I really don't). Be careful of these kinds of emails, don't fall for these schemes.

I got many mails of these kinds. and if i claimed all the prizes i would have exceeded mr,Bill Gates. lol

Friend those are the fake mails only, dont respond even them, when you go ahead with them they will ask you for money. This is nothing just some type of spams and dont take them seriously friend

I have got such mails..in the past. Delete it without opening them, as they can be very dangerous. So of these mails attack ur address book as soon as u open them. So watch out and never ever give any personal information on the internet.

You are indeed braver than I am. I would just delete that type of message because I know it is probably fake and I would be afraid it would have a virus. What were you going to do with all that money?

I believe everyone in the military right now wants to put money in my account to hold for them. I think it is really sad how they use our military men and women for such scams. The ones that are fighting for our freedom do not even realize how they are being used in this respect. I think it is ashame of how far some people will go to get your personal information.

Unfortunately, these scams are perpetrated across the internet all the time. The sad thing is that some people will actually get drawn in and fall for it and it ends up costing them big time. Do yourself a favor and just delete those types of emails immediately. They are all scams.

Unless it's coming from someone you know, delete it. It's fake. I sometimes get into sweepstakes, Free Lotto, legitimate ones and anything that I'm not familiar with gets deleted. It's Spam, most of those places want your private info so they can get into your credit, bank accounts and the like. Often they want money to send you your winnings, if it costs you money, it's a fraud. Often they will want to send you a check, cash it and want some money in return, from that check. The check will bounce and you'll be left holding the bag and the debt, you will have to repay the bank the amount of the bounced check and any fees that apply.
We have to be careful, there are too many scammers who think we are dumb and rich and they are very willing to cheat us.
