What does war mean to you?

Hi biman_s. War means only one thing for me. It means killing, it means ending ones life. It is a destruction of one'e. This is something we should not advocate. There are things that can be solved by communicating and not igniting war.

War is bad. War is devil. War is kill somebody. War is garbage

Yesterday I watched a documentary called the last Nazis came home. I was very shocked with what I saw. Then I had a question what is war? Why the war never stops in human history. Then this morning I read your topic.
To me war means deaths. Many people lost their lives and children lost their parents. It’s really cruel behaviour in world. I watched a few films connecting wars. Every time when I watch these films I feel very sad. After a war our civilization was back a lot than before.

War mean to me,is also bloodshed.I have not experienced war,I don't know how cruel it is in the end.I know everything about war from television or movies.I do not like watching war movie.

I like the concept of being in peace with our enemies. But it is also a fact that MAKING PEACE WITH ENEMY IS TOUGHER THAN WAR,but it do have the blessings of all your well wishers
We should not also forget Gandhi's NON VIOLENCE movements in the present situation.....Which is the most suitable and hardest method to avoid the upcoming dangers in our green earth

To politicians, war is just one of various methods to solve conflicts. To army officers especially those generals, war means they could be promoted quickly. To arms companies, war is a golden opportunity to make fat profits. But to ordinary people including civilians and soldiers, war is completely a catastrophe. In order to let people support war, the governing class would say that the war is for the sake of national interests, but in fact it is more likely for their own sakes. But it seems that we could do nothing to avoid war for we have been "represented" by those in power.

War will never be a good solution of anything. I don't like war. Nothing good will come out of it. We will see bloodshed, tears of the innocent victims and more bad effect, before and after. People become savage during war in order to survive. They said they want peace by attacking others. But how will peace arrived if the victims strike back and they will engage in a war?

To me war means loss of valuable human lives.War means destruction of human and natural property.War means unnecessary expense on weapons which can be put to better economic use.War means a method of soothing the egos of politicians.The more we interact with one another we better understand one another and this leads to peace .Peace means we can utilize our scarce resources to reduce misery and suffering of the people.

Hi biman, I detest war, it, as you say, sheds innocent blood. People must come to realize that war can never bring peace. It may bring an end to a dictatorship and a break in hostilities but never peace. Humans have been fighting each other since the beginning of time and are still doing so. It is time that we learn to get along. Blessings.

to me it's because other cant excpet the fact other people are different and have different bleife or whatever. or even that one country is better then another. so instead excepting this they want to destoried them.
to me this is so stuipd for a reason.
