Okay this shot doesn't really show my dad, but his ;legs etc anyhow are visible. Now that my 1 year old grand daughter loves crawling etc she does some silly things. Here she was fascinated with her great grand fathers slippers for some reason. She likes furry things and shiny things, but these slippers? Too cute. What is your child and grand childs fascination(s)? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

lol Just don't know what goes through kid's minds when they are fascinated by certain objects. I still don't know what my daughter sees in soil. No matter where she is, dressed nice or not, she just HAS to play in dirt. Now if I can just get her interested in playing in the 'right' dirt like say, the garden. lol

Who knows why it is the simply things in life that amaze those little minds. Just like at Christmas and birthdays they love the paper and boxes more than what is in them. They do like to touch different textures.

That is so cute and priceless. I know little ones can be very curious about just about everything, that is why you have to keep a close watch on them. They can easily get into trouble with that curiosity. At that age they are easily entertain and that is a good thing. Savannah is really growing.

Just 2 weeks ago it was easy to keep tabs on her. Now I have to chase after her as she crawls so fast. Hahaha! Keeps Grandpa Bob exercising a bit I guess.' HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

What a precious picture! I guess you could say that Savanna could not 'slip' by great-grandpa without stopping, and that she 'kneeds' him? LOL. How about posting a 4-generation picture? Would love to see one!

LOL. I do not have any grandchildren yet. My only daughter is almost 18. I do have a puppy though and he is fascinated with feet, socks and house slippers too. That is just too cute.

That picture is so cute... even if the two are like two generations apart... Savanna's fascination made it seem like her Great Grandfather is the most fascinating person in the world... and i bet he loves the attention... even if she is really just curious about the slippers... For some reason... my daughter right now is fascinated about my tummy... and would ask me to tell her the story on when when she was born... how little she was then... and how she cried aloud when she finally came out... i love telling her that...

Oh she's so focused on those slippers, isn't she?! lol It doesn't matter what they are, once they're interested in something, that's all that matters to them. It's the material she's after, not what they are. You really should get her a fleece blanket because it's soooo soft and she'd love that!!

Has it really been a year since she arrived?! How time flies! I have no grandchildren yet but I remembered the other day something funny about my sons' babysitter. She told her mom (a friend of mine) who told me (because she knew it would make me laugh, as she did) that she didn't know what to do because my 18 month old was licking her legs! Next time, she didn't put lotion on her legs and it didn't happen again. My oldest loved bright colors and buttons so I got him a sweatshirt when he was 3 and sewed different buttons all over it. He loved that shirt!
