Disagreement= racism?

Bush didn't create this mess... the democrats did.and Comrade 0bama had a big hand in creating this mess.

He has also increased the deficit by more than 3 times the amount that Bush did in 8 years.

Wow, we are being a bit harsh here aren't we? I am fully aware of the situations. Bush was our President therefore HE created the mess. he went along with anything because he is such a dumbas* he couldn't think for his self. We were fine before him...

Well, I suppose Martin Luther King Jr. was a racist then...cause HE said his DREAM was that black people waited for the day when they were judged for the content of their character rather than the color of their skin.

You don't do people of color any good by protecting them from the consequences of bad choices. So why is it that Obama gets a free pass to lie, cheat and steal from the American people who elected him? skin? I don't think so. He's yet to prove he's any different from the white politicians in the past who lied, cheated and stole from the American people. His character stinks to high heaven!

It took the media 6 years of bashing the economy to accomplish this.. and the liberal pressure on banks to give out unstable loans to those who couldn't pay back.. to say nothing of the global warming hype which spiked gas, etc prices..

what race are you? i have biracial kids, racism exists and its not going away. I too wish to see people not judges by the color of their skin, but to say someone is doing something just because they are black...

What difference does it make what race anyone is? I feel that a large portion of America is truly post-racial, and the remainder needs racism to stay in power.

Judging by results, Obama has done little. The debt Bush created in 8 years, Obama doubled it in less than 8 months. Crucial decisions in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, Obama has waffled, taking breaks for date-nights, golf, and late-night tv appearances. Everyone complained about the number of vacations Bush took while in office, but Obama is certainly giving Bush a run for his money. We don't expect Obama to fix anything in months, but we did expect him not to exacerbate the existing problems.

He isn't the change we were expecting.

Perhaps everyone should google his I Have a Dream speech....and see what he was all about. Funny thing, I've not heard Obama mention MLK to much....as the acknowledged leader of the civil rights movement, you'd think he'd be quoting him left and right...but then being a narcissist maybe not...he'd then have to give someone else credit for his being elected, wouldn't he? And that wouldn't sit well with his giant EGO.

Evidently it isn't racist to beat up the only white kid on the bus so I guess if someone punched him they could claim they were punching his white side. Makes sense to me.

When do you suppose we'll have the first purely WHITE President? Do you feel that some of those claiming to be white have screwed it up for a GOOD white person to be elected President?

I don't think we can elect any color of man with character and principles to the office unless he is GREEN...the system is to corrupted by money and propaganda mongers. The Amerian people to apathetic and brainwashed.

As for the whole issue of race....what struck me back in the sixties when I was just a girl...was the power of Martin Luther King's speech....I have a Dream. To judge a man on the content of HIS CHARACTER, rather than on the COLOR of his skin.
There were far to many people who elected his BECAUSE he was black...not because they saw a man of character or principles....and that was what Obama counted on.
When we can truly QUIT seeing ANYONE as a race...we will have seen his dream come true. And Obama is guilty of using RACE to his advantage which is JUST as BAD as using race to disadvantage someone.

And I have to throw my two cents in as well, kennyrose may not understand this but the way that people identify themselves when they are bi-racial is up to them, my brother is half black, just like Obama, and my brother, just like Obama, calls himself a black man. Its not that big of a deal.

haha...that's one of the most idiotic things I've heard. I mean, sure he's bi-racial. I think we all know about his mom and dad by now. But to say Obama has screwed up any chance a 'good BLACK person' has to being elected as President of the U.S. reeks of racism. You actually think people won't vote for a person who is black because they think Obama screwed things up so bad; and of course another black person would do the same thing. Cause all blacks are the same, huh? Of course, Obama isn't black, he's bi-racial. So I suppose he really just screwed it up for other bi-racial folk; regardless of THEIR race's.

I don't expect a response as I'm sure you'll be posting about a gazillion discussions on the plight of the American people now that Obama is in office.

I don't feel that he screwed it up for future black candidates. I do believe that most of America is post-racial, and if a black man with good policies and good experience announces his intent to run for office, he could win with a good margin. Most of Obama's detractors don't dislike him for his race, they dislike him for his socialist stance, his lackadaisical attitude toward our servicemen and -women, and his tax policies.

Condoleeza Rice would probably give Hillary a good run for her money in an election. Bobby Jindal, while not black, neither is he white, he could also do a pretty good job.
