The noodles or the sauce?

so your a sauce gal, like the roomie

and no Italian in either of us either

We were eating red sauce too, I love white sauce too, but neither are really on our diet, so we were being better by eating red...

Heck, anything with those noodles make me happy....

We are having buttered noodles for dinner tonight. lol Maybe with some chives in it as well.

noodles are off the diet, man, noodles and ANYTHING!!!!

I like both, but I'm fussier about the reds, I find some too sweet others too spicy - I can always be happy with a white....

gimme the noodles! what do you use for the sauce after the noodles are gone?

well, I find you can't twirl the noodles if you leave them sitting too long, I'm definitely a noodle twirler...

Why not? They twirl just fine for me after heating up the spagetti in a bowl.

lol - like we like the sauce with the spaghetti squash, but the roomie wanted NOODLES tonight

Gotta say - we ate a FRACTION of what we used to eat - I probably had about a cup and so did she, (we were only to have a third of a cup) but she used to put away WAY more than that and so did I (but not as much as she did)

just that I have meat trouble, since I'm allergic to so many that we look for things I can eat without meat...

so, your like we are - well, you can see the sauce on mine, but most stays in the bottom of the bowl

You guys need to sop it up with some nice Italian bread!
That is the best! I could just eat some Italian bread or
buttered rolls with sauce for dinner and be really happy!
And I'm not even Italian!

Hi opal26. I do love the sauce as well. The more sauce the better. I both love either white or red sauce.

that IS bad! I've actually known people to eat the sauce on bread - but only AFTER the noodles are gone...

on the other hand, I'll eat cocktail sauce on crackers because I like the cocktail sauce so much...

said the same thing! I love to sop up the sauce with bread!
I don't even need the pasta! And I make my own sauce and I'm
not Italian! I was engaged to an Italian and I always made
my own sauce from scratch! My Mom used to make alot of Italian
dishes like Lasagna and Braciolle! I make them both too! And
I am Hungarian on my mother's side and Russian on my father's
side! I can really cook some incredible food!

Hi Opal. I make a mean lasagna and can get a bit creative with my spaghetti but that's about it for me and cooking Italian. I just made my own spaghetti sauce for the first time last week and I think I'll be doing this from now on. I'll just have to plant more tomato plants next year so I'll have enough to can to use through the winter and spring.

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only person who likes bread and spaghetti sauce!

Hi mentalward. There is nothing weird about it. I do love the pasta sauce. The more the better. It is nothing at all without the sauce. I want the sauce to be a little sweeter.

me too, I do like white sauces, and I love butter, probably why I'm so fat... don't really like cream of tomato tho...

HI kylevinz. I do agree with you. Noodles is not tasty without any sauce. It is like painting on a pale wall. It adds. beauty and of course, taste. Yummy.

actually, I like to twirl my noodles, so I like the spaghetti noodles and baking it would ruin them ...

besides, baking it makes lasagna..
