How did you eat oreo cookies when you were a kid?

Ever since i was a kid, I loved oreo cookies! They are my all time favorite chocolate cooke. I could never just eat them the way they came out of the package. I had to slowly take them apart. Then I ate all of the icing off. Then I finished the cookie. Does anyone else have a way of eating their oreo cookie that they would like to share?

I twist off the top cookie. Them I lick the middle out then. Then I eat the bottom and then the top. I have ate Oreos that way since I was a kid and still eat them that way today, in adulthood.

Some habits do die hard. I am sure there are many adults who still enjoy their childhood treats and eat them the same. now that i am posting this i am hungry for an oreo myself.

As a kid, I Just ate the cream and left the cookie. As an adult I take them apart and I eat the half without the cream and then I eat the other like an open faced sandwich.

hi sender 621 I always took my oreo cookie
apart and ate the filling first. Then I would
'dip the chocolate cookie into my glass of 2 per
cent milk and savor it slowly and without any
apparent desire to even move. then I would start
on my second Oreo cookie.

I love oreo cookies,even if I'm 26.for me,it is a symbol of sweet life and youth.I love oreo cookies with orange juice.I can eat oreo cookies as dessert and as snack.I love these crunchy cookies.I can one pack in a day.

interesting choice. i had never tried oreos with juice before. does it change the flavor of the cookie at all?

We didn't have Oreos when we were growing up so I can't tell you how I ate them. I can tell you though that my youngest daughter eats it like you. She licks the icing/cream slowly and then eats the cookies. Sometimes she eats only the cream/icing and leaves all the cookies without eating them. Once I also caught her dipping the cookies in her soda (Fanta) saying that they taste yummy.

Thanks for sharing your daughter's oreo habits with us. I don't remember hearing anyone else dunking their oreos in soda before. I wonder how it would taste. Might have to try it sometime. My late husband loved oreos too, His favorite way to eat them sat to dunk them in a glass of milk. I think this habit was the only time I ever saw him enjoy drinking milk. Anyone else eat their oreos this way?

Oreo's used to also be my favorite cookie when I was little. I would always get a glass of milk and dip the whole cookie in the milk until it started getting soft and then eat it. I don't eat cookies very much anymore but when I do I still eat them this way.

Here in Argentina, the Oreo's come in a package of 12 cookies. Six for my partner and 6 for me! lol. With my six, I take them all apart. Hopefully I can get all the creamy middle to stay on one side and leave the other cookie without any cream. I first eat all the cookie parts that don't have any cream and then eat the other half of the cookies. I lick all the cream off and then eat the cookie part. One by one......YUM! lol. We also have Oreo Alfajores here. It's like a giant sized Oreo cookie covered in chocolate. It's the bomb!

I love oreo cookies to but as a child I would pull them apart and eat the blank side first then lick the cream off and then eat the rest of the cookie. Now as an adult I no longer pull it apart. I eat the whole cookie just taking bites.

I loved to eat oreos when I was a kid...and I still enjoy oreos now. As I child I usually ate them in two ways: I would either twist them open and eat the icing off first and then ate the cookie part or I would just dunk the whole cookie into a glass of icy cold milk and pop it into my mouth. Yum!
