to all married or live in couples...WHO ALWAYS WAKE UP FIRST IN THE MORNING??

i wake up first. coz i need to fix myself to look good when he wakes up. go shower, brush my teeth, prepare for breakfast, clean the room and all. so that when he wakes up, everything is neat and clean. and if he saw me looks good then im sure he will love me more everyday.

This is an intresting question. We never had fights for waking up each other. I get up early because I have to leave to office early. His work starts late and so he will be the person getting up late. I always keep an alarm to get up early and he doesn't care if it disturbs his sleep. He is not a good sleeper anyway. I try to switch off the alarm asap before he gets up. We both sleep in during weekends.

If I have a good night (I'm an insomniac but take meds) then he generally wakes up about a 1/2 hour or so before me....if I have a bad night..I'm up first...As for him waking me up or visa versa...well we dont share a bed so that doenst happen...in fact we dont even share a bedroom LOL

I wake up first in my couple and my boyfriend is always late in the morning and he does not like when someone wakes him up early too. He can fights with me if I wake him up in the morning though. Once he told me that I am not respecting his sleep and to do not wake him early, so I have stopped doing that and now even if he gets late to work I do not seem to bother because he should be responsible enough to sleep a bit early at night to wake up early in the morning too.

I probably wake up first most mornings but, if I am on the late shift at work I usually go back to sleep for an hour or so. I never wake him up unless he has an early appointment but I usually wake up when he ggoes downstairs.. or switches the TV on... or sneezes loudly. I just mutter and sigh to myself - its not worth fighting over.

I wonder why you have this topic to us.

without doubt it's always my husband who wakes up earlier, no matter on weekday or on weekends. he needs to go out to work early, so he has the habit to get up by 7am. I don't need to go out for work, so I always can sleep as late as I want.

in general I get up by 7:30am, then I do some exercise for half hour, then turn on my laptop to check emails or surf on internet.

by the way I never be bothered in the morning. so I don't know what i will do if somebody woke me up in the early morning.

Oh, my husband always wakes up first lol. Maybe it's because I used to live in a different time zone with him. No, I don't get mad if he wakes me up, in fact I'd be grateful because I wouldn't have to turn the morning alarm lol. If he does it on the weekend, I might be a little upset, but I'd just simply go back to sleep lol

in my case, most of the time its my husband who wakes up first! hehe
coz he always needs to be early...huh!
but there are also time that i wake up first... specially Mondays, Thursdays & Sundays...coz during those days i need to really prepare for him...

we never fight about waking up each other in the morning coz when he saw me tightly sleep, he will not wake me up...he just let me sleep...and i am also like that...hehe i just wake him up when i know that he have important works to attend to...

I'm always the first one up, I get the kids up and start getting them ready for school, then I get my boyfriend up. I have more to do, and I like the quiet time before everone else wakes up. Lucky for me he is easy to wake up, I just give him a kiss and tell him it's time to get up and he does...if he were waking me up I would definitely be grouchy and probably snap at him to leave me alone!

Well I am not married! But I consider myself a wife! My BF and I have been living together for a long time, he is the primary bread winner, and I am a stay at home mother! But who wakes up first in the morning?!?! I wish it wasn't me...lol.. I so badly want to stay sleeping sometimes! But than I hear my daughter and of course, even if it is the weekend my BF will not get up! So.. I get up first everyday! All the time! Happy sleeping!
